a funfact for you fifi: call me was the actual debut song for pixy and girls were ready for it but spontaneously in a short time the company which is allart, decided that the girls would debut with a song like wings instead call me and they debut with a dark concept in the final

"A Girl Like Me" is one of my favorite kpop songs ever. ;_;
I'm so sad it wasn't a break-out hit for Gugudan, the production is exquisite and the MV super fun. Gugudan was so talented but they couldn't overcome the controversy of their company pulling Kim Sejeong early out of I.O.I; the fandom never forgave Jellyfish for that, so no matter what bops were released the audience just wasn't there. V.V

omg I wish you would do a 9Muses deep dive! They have so many incredible songs (But I also know you probably don't have time since you make so much content)
My fav title tracks from them: Hurt Locker, Wild, Dolls, Gun, Glue, and Sleepless Night. Most fans also enjoy Drama, but that's my least favourite from them.

On the Gugudan song when you reacted to killer vocal lines, that was one of their main vocalists and the face of the group Sejeong, aka Kim Se-jeong, aka her current solo act name KIMSEJEONG, but most commonly known as Sejeong. You already know Gugudan had a lot of bad-ass vocalists; one of them was another main vocalist, Haebin, who was about as good as Sejeong but didn't reach the same level of attention or stardom.
I really hope you eventually get around to checking out Sejeong. One of the premier female singers in K-pop. Her journey includes iconic performances in the competition show "Produce 101" (season 1), the group I.O.I, Gugudan, and her solo career where her first release got an all-kill in Korea.
Side note: she has a seriously badass cover of IU's "My Sea" that would probably blow you away.
