at the begginning of beesmas did the exact same steps he did witht a messy red hive pretty much ungifted but with hponeyday and getting to round 20 but failed
its not hard to get and if u bought it as early game or mid game its gonna be trash since u have like 0 or barely any drives on it. so until u actually become end game (where u wouldve got it quite easily anyway) u can finally grind drives on it and make it good

I got to round 19 as a red hive, 13 lvl ones and I had a decent like hive. I just got a run that was like 1/ millions so that’s insane. Also my friends fuzzy alt helped, and if I didn’t rush it I could possibly have gotten to the round 20 which is insane.
I was able to beat r20 in rbc as a lvl 16 blue too because of the multithread upgrade aswell as the many attack upgrades i got allowing me to easily kill the mobs. Now i need to get a glitched drive so i can get the digital bee
as a level17 fully gifted red hive with a scythe way better nectars and honeyday it took me whole night and 6 tries to beat round 20 I still have no idea how u did it with lvl16 blue hive congrats that's crazy (i was also using every drive including glitched)
No offense but just because you’re red doesn’t mean it’s super easy too, don’t understand me wrong it usually should be but you still need some brain power and experience for that.

Idk if you had this combo but multithread + blue screen helps the damage problem a lot if you have trouble with that, and hope you get better Rng next time!

You wasted materials on hydro planter , it doesn't help with rbc in any way. A lvl 13 blue getting to even round 10 is impressive. Just macro and lvl up bees for a couple months til you can afford to swap ungifted bees for precise and attack bees for rbc , and then swap back
bro dont stress it, im lvl 19 blue, no tidepopper, (although i am switching to red rn) and am still making bank. The tide popper doesnt matter as much as you think it does. Its kinda like upgraded petal wand
