For years now she has been using playback steps especially in high notes, including the album version and singing live ration, more than once in these years her voice is not very optimal. What sense does it make to use so much playback in concerts that should be from I live?
@@nicog2289 it's bc people put so much pressure on her to sound the same as she did on her records, I would love for her to bring the keys down a bit and just perform fully live, but I think she let's the pressure get to her
actually her tone in 2019 was lighter compared to playback, but here it was darker and blended perfectly, even the live parts sound similar to the album version.
I get sad when she doesn't hit the high notes that I anticipate hearing ... the parts of the song that are so special. I dunno if she just can't do it or if she doesn't wanna do it or if she's just doing something different but the parts where it's suppose to get up high are the parts I look forward to and then I get let down. :-( I will always be in love with Mariah Carey tho so no love lost.
LifeIsAMystery Mariah has always been a bit insecure and too perfectionistic herself. She may be able to do it but is not so confident in herself and her current ability I'm afraid

Work on hitting those notes and being confident doing so, not settling for what second best can buy you.....:)
Yeah she is an alto naturally, and being so doesn’t mean she can’t sing high which Mariah is iconically known for . You are clearly ill educated on Mariah’s voice itself and oblivious to many other contributions as to why she may not have been able to belt a C5 that specific night daaahhling 🦋. Transcribing the song may sound ideal for that time being but overall it’s about musical taste , her musicianship , and seeing the bigger picture . Is it better to lip some parts of a song and rest her voice as much as possible during a show (which I’m sure had a extensive repertoire )or sing an entire song in a lower key and hope her voice endures the entirety of a show 👉🏼👈🏼.
Also I feel she just started developing a horrible issue of using unhealthy and incorrect placement (vowel modulation woman !!) while singing in her mixed or chest (head and whistle still divine ) during those years , and still occasionally now .

Some It’s prerecorded but she sings into the mic. This happened also with a recent performance of against all odds where she sings the climax live right under the prerecorded track. I think she uses prerecorded like anyone else in the business. Is about clarity, stamina, correct breathing. And she is more confident since she might fail because of the fragility oh her voice.
mariah carey, i am so happy and happy when she sings such a divine voice for christmas, it's not just about christmas itself but jesus christ herself, i am so thankful that the country usa, sings about him, appreciates christmas with which not sweden does unfortunately
