    I bought one when they first came out. Awesome charger. At the track I use an Aohi 140w brick with a 240w cable. I get the full 90w on usbc, I run 3 classes and never have an issue with charge time for the next heat. And it takes hardly any room. I also set it to constant work mode so it automatically charges when I plug in a battery. It will charge over 12a on a 2s with that setup.

    That’s pretty good, I’m using a couple of skyrc B6 Neos which have been great but a lot of people are having QC issues with them. Hota have a way better reputation so hopefully this will help with some healthy competition

      I heard good things about Hota as well, changed my whole setup charging setup to 2 D6 Pros and then the T6 for mobile charging.

      I have a hota d6 and that roller button sucks from day one. I had to open it up and it got fixed for a while but now it still sucks.. I can't remember what I did. I replaced the fan. They all say they are more reliable because of JB... I have the first model of toolkitrc lineup. It had issues too, but it works :) I have a skyrc too.. I had to open it up too .. I don't remember the reason. To me they all have some QC issues. Just be careful when parallel charging. That's the most dangerous thing.

      @@ethrrr I purchased two D6 Pros at the same time, both working great so far. Possible that they improved the quality since then like you mentioned.

    Do you think that it's better than the ISDT 608PD ? The ISDT is supposedly better as it charges at 100W from PD (which is what I'm interested in).

      If you're talking about the small pocket-sized ISDT 608PD, be warned, it does not do storage charging. I found out the hard way. For me, that's a deal breaker and I would prefer this hota over the isdt if I could go back in time.

      I have both and the hota t6 is a much better charger. The only reason to get the isdt is the PD port is bidirectional so you can use RC batteries to charge your phone or your laptop like a power bank.

    Good for standard FMS lipo connectors?

      You’ll need to make a lead to adapt the connector used on those batteries to a XT60.

    • @Mangorille
      @Mangorille  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      What kind of batteries do you plan on charging with this? The PD USB-C input is only rated at 90w so a 100w charger that can do 100w through a single USB-C will be plenty.

    • @Mangorille
      @Mangorille  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@elzonn Ah okay, if my math is correct, that requires less than 40W of power. Add a bit for losses and a 60W should be plenty.
      The formula I used:
      Wattage = Voltage x Amperage
      Wattage = 25.2V x 1.5A
      25.2V would be 4.2V per cell times 6 cells
      1.5A would be a 1C charge rate for that battery

    Can it be used as a battery checker or to charge a cellphone from a lipo like the toolkitrc pocket?

    • @Mangorille

      No, you can turn the XT60 into an adjustable power supply but the USB is purely a power input.

    I'm new and have accidentally flown batteries down to 2.6 volts. Today i forgot to unplug my battery and the 4 cells were: 1.200 - 1.160 - 1.500 -1.500 . I assumed the batteries would die under 3v and when the cells were not similar voltage. But after charging they are all back to 4.200 on all cells. Did I get lucky, or are the batteries actually dead?

    • @Mangorille
      @Mangorille  หลายเดือนก่อน

      The cells are most likely damaged. No puffing or physical indications that the battery is unhappy? When you charged them, did you check the Internal Resistance of each cell to see how they compare to your other battery packs?

      @casperorluff2231 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Mangorille So I managed to charge it to 4.20 last night. I just flew the pack, and I felt I didn't get a long flight time. I landed at 3.50v 30 minutes ago and just tried o charge it. It showing 1.4, 1.2, 0.6, 0.8 on the cells now. I'm going to discard this battery.

      @@casperorluff2231 No surprise. If you had a means of checking the Internal Resistance you would probably see a very high number. Be careful with cells in that situation, they are puff and ignite.
