I just don’t use any commercial shampoos. I use Rhassoul Clay with ACV, or an African Black Soap, or Ambunu, or Shikakai, or Aritha (soap nuts). I haven’t used a commercial shampoo in over 10 years. I have low porosity, type 3c/4a hair which is now tailbone length. I don’t use products in my hair that would require me to cleanse with a conventional shampoo. This was a good review.

you are onto something sis! what do you use to moisturise, seal and style?

I haven’t used the shampoo and conditioner but the leave in is great! It made detangling so easy and softened my hair more than when I use the rosemary and mint leave in.

Good to know! I haven’t tried the leave in .

Maybe it’s your hair type. I found this shampoo to be extremely moisturizing. It tangled better than a detangler and it caused my curls to pop. I didn’t need a styler. It is just that good with my hair type 4A/4B. I would encourage someone to find the travel size or a small sample size and try it for themselves.

Design Essentials Honey Crème is a fantastic shampoo. I’m 4c and my hair is dry so starting with a moisturizing shampoo really helps.

Niiice! I absolutely LOVE this line from Mielle so I'm excited to hear how your hair responds! I LOVE your voice btw!!! Sooo relaxing!!! 🥰 I like the leave-in conditioner much more than the shampoo though. It's a holygrail in my collection.

Thanks for helping me skip this one! The leave in conditioner from this line is great. Really hydrating and great smell. But clearly it's unlike the rest of the line. I really like the Camille Rose cleansing rinse as a shampoo. Very gentle, but does get my hair clean and lathers well.

I don't even expect shampoos to detangle even when they say it. I've had to lower my expectations on most shampoos. Haven't found one yet that has good moisture. So now I just make sure that my deep conditioners have good moisture. These days I prepoo before shampooing my hair so at least some of that stripped feeling is prevented. It's so disappointing when products don't live up to their claims.

There are some really good moisturizing shampoos out there and you can finger dentangle your hair with some shampoos out there. The next time I find one I will let you know

I totally agres Sis regarding the start of the moisture-game beginning with a good shampoo! Like you, I've found it difficult to find a good shampoo. My daughter's friend makes great soaps and one of them double as a body hair bar (cherry bar. It has kaoilin clayand tons of other goodies in it. I cut of slither of the bar and put them in my shampoo bottle with some distilled water (shaking every so often to breakdown the soap piece). FANTASTIC for the last few months! I am a few inches past apl (big chopped 3/31/20) am i am excited and dedicated to seeing how long i can grow my hair!

True! I wish this was spoken of more here on youtube. Each time I use a harsh shampoo it doesn’t matter what I do after, my hair is dry . Sebum is great for my hair!

U look §Ő adorable wįţĥ thªţ shower cap. Thank u taking this time to review this. My roommate has this I've used to in a jam.
Now as I am getting ready for the recyclables to come . I am reading up on this product & YES how wild is that this is in New Braunfels Texas & u are in aussy far out.
I wash my corn rolls every 2 days when I am lazy don't want to take them down, this product is wonderful unlike any other shampoo that drys u out. I guess I shouldn't complain to much bcz it only takes me 15 minutes to redo my rolls but it's just becoming work after 4 years or doing my hair. Can't imagine if I did hair for a living. Long story thank u thank u

Thanks for sharing your review. At this point in my journey im trying not to try everything I see out there. My goal is to remove the rest of my relaxed ends by April to have a modest legnth of natural hair. Have you tried the Camille rose sweet ginger rinse? If not it’s perfect at moisturizing the hair so much you can detangle with it, also African pride honey coconut shampoo those two have been the most moisturizing shampoos I’ve found so far

I experienced the same effect, I used their rosemary shampoo and followed with the pomegranate conditioner and my hair feels so dry and brittle it did not help to detangle at all. My hair feels worse than when I began, I was so disappointed because they cost a lot in my country. The hype isn't worth it at all!!

question if you have a shampoo that works for your hair why do you try other products? that can POTentially DAMAGE your natural hair." if aint broke do not try to fix it " wisdom from the wise

    • @CoilyDiaries

very wise! as a youtuber a lot of the people are interested in reviews to help them decide. that’s why I try new things. I however no longer try to finish the products and only try products from PR now.

Look up "Tamara's Hair Care: Mielle Organic Damaged my hair". The products took this one lady's hair right out.😮
There's a theory going around that the real reason that Mielle sold is because their products don't work the way they're supposed to, and the creator made a profit and skedaddled before the user base started to catch on.
