I just finished the game. What a masterpiece. Honestly one of the best games I've ever played. The ending was incredible. Cant wait for Pt 2.

I absolutely love how much trauma and rage her facial expressions show, shes been through so much it's just incredible
Melina Juergens does the acting for digital capture. She's doing an awesome job especially considering shes not from an acting background but was drafted in by the team. Her performance is even more impressive considering she performs those scenes and stunts while suffering from fibromyalgia. Rarely have I seen someone deserve a BAFTA award more.

The first Hellblade is honestly one of the finest story experiences in gaming I have ever had. It's also not hard, so I highly recommend it even if you aren't a gamer.

I just beat Hellblade: Senua's sacrifice, just 20 minutes before i typed this comment. And let me tell you this:
This game is a MASTERPIECE like no other!!!
The graphics, the fantastic audio, the atmosphere, the universe, the narration, the combat system. The game just pulls you in. I freaked out a couple of times too. Actually more than a couple of times😅
I can't believe the amount of times i passed on this game on Gamepass.
I had a wonderful experience. Which is why jumped on youtube ASAP looking for a sequel.
Few downside of the game is lack of combat n runtime....it's too short

I don't think the game was short at all. The game had a story to tell, a concept for the gamer to acquire, and it did perfectly.
Otherwise it probably would've been a bit repetitive.
Sometimes the puzzles pissed me off a little, which is the only negative thing i can say about the game. But this is just my personal feeling.

I think Unreal Engine 5 is part of the reason for the waiting.
Early access for Unreal Engine 5 was announced in May 2021, with the full release of UE5 is expected later in 2021/early 2022.
So, since Microsoft has already confirmed UE5 will be the engine of choice for HB2, is safe to assume the game will be scheduled at least for 2022. If not 2023 :D

this might be one of the most epic trailers ever made
This reminds me of a story about a man I knew once. He was a real adventurer. He was German, a retired engineer. Settled in southeast, USA. His house was filled with exotic wildlife trophies. His downstairs den, which doubled as a guest bedroom, had a full-sized stuffed polar bear--the damned thing was almost 10 foot tall. All around his house were little puzzles to occupy the brain. He spent a short time as a reserve deputy in the local sheriff's office. Kind of reminded one of a minor Dos Equis beer "Most Interesting Man In the World" kind of guy.
Anyway, to the story: he was allowed to assist on the SWAT team because he had made some specialized breaching tools for them. On one raid, it just so happened to have more people inside than they had anticipated. One bad guy, startled, looked to a closet. My friend followed his eyes and saw a shotgun. The guy lunged for it and my friend tackled him. During this, my friend was screaming commands, "Stop!" "Don't reach for it!" "Get down!" etc. Suddenly the guy just froze staring up at my friend. He flipped the guy over and put him in handcuffs. Then he looked up and everyone else had also frozen, staring at him deputy and bad guy alike.
"What?"
Only then did he realize he had been yelling at the guy in German.
