This footage here brings me in the wayyy back machine Jan.! Thank you!! That was what we looked like trying to emulate him. While I totally get that, comparison is the thief of joy. I think the main thing to take away from this doc is the enthusiasm Dustin had as a kid and then even as a father skating with his kids. It sounds cliché, but that's truly what skating is about -- not whether you can do this trick or that trick. This was one of the most heartwarming pieces of blading content I've seen. Loved seeing the support his family gave him at a young age. Thanks for sharing, Jan!

Latimer is the goat for so many reasons. It's style that can't even be fully understood. I hate to be that guy. But blading won't see another like him. He wrote the book. Everything else is an extension of what he helped build. Or single handedly built. Honestly anytime someone does a butter true soyale it's just a road paved by DL. And not to mention I consider his fastslide in BFG to be the 1st real one. Guy just broke the dam open. A river of style and innovation. Sorry to worship. But he's a god.

I would love a video (or multiple) that highlights and discusses some of the earliest/most influential aggressive inline videos, parts, spots, lines, etc. The ones that got passed around the most, talked about the most, and broke open what could be done with the sport. I have so many questions. Hopefully one day we’ll get to hear the story or thought process of the obvious transition of life styles. The destroying of the accord, what it meant what it meant to him. Why it meant to him and the symbolism behind it. I always heard the tales of an accident that shifted things to a more spiritual persona (for a lack of a better term). Whether any of it is true or not. Either way this guy shaped mine and many others adolescent lives.
