As soon as I was able to pass my test I completely flipped my driving style around and started driving with one had at 1 and one on the shifter or with my ri r hand on the wheel and my left arm on/out the door and I’ve been enjoying it while still feeling in full control of all aspects of the vehicle.
I'm a teenager I just got my beginners and i just drove with 1 hand even tho It was my first time,as a kid I used to watch my dad drive n i still do lol i just keen off watching him
Im more used to drive with one hand, when i took my driving clases the instructor told me that driving with one hand is better when you are in the city, its an easier way to rotate the steering wheel. He also told me to use both hands on long distance travels.
When I started driving I always used both hands my dad always said I move and shake the steering wheel too much but when I used one only I drove like someone who has been driving since the day they were born My controls an movement on the steering wheel were so smooth
Just broke my arm last week and was looking for something like this I only need to go about a mile I've been walking to the grocery store and back packing my groceries back but now I'm going in for surgery I need to load up on like 15 gallons of water and there's no way I can backpack that home. I'm going to practice with my neighborhood first. Thank you so much
@@anike6270 Thx, Anike! It's only been 3 months, bone has almost healed, still have nerve damage in hand and limited range of motion, due to being in cast for so long and compression injury to nerves... which I'm working out with PT. Driving with two hands now but this video was literally a life changer for me! So thankful, it gave me the confidence I was lacking! Best to you, have a great day.🌱
Everytime I take one hand off the steering wheel to scratch my arm or head or something like that my mom starts screaming at me “BOTH HANDS ON THE WHEEL” it’s comical and annoying at the same time😂
"But I'd recommend steering with two hands or driving with two hands as often as possible." *Is watching this video to see how a person with one arm can drive*
Hi...do you have any advice for me if I am parking with right hand....my left arm rotator cuff is torn....My power steering is not great....I am having trouble getting out of tight spots or turns....I have to grip the wheel....it can't be turned with palm....
The only way I can see anyone be able to comfortably drive using their left hand on the clutch would be if they were driving a car with the driver's side being on the right.
Im 15 and a half and my dad has always let me drive all the time on roads and I used to be perfectly fine with one hand but my dad told me I should at least drive with two hands just in case and at least until I get my license but anyways I feel really uncomfortable driving with one hand now and I'm trying to get into the swing of things again
well im a 16 yo girl and i saw michael scott also lee ikjun steering the car with one hand, and i wanna be skilled at it lmao, btw ive taken courses and i can drive, dont worry.
You are using TWO hands!!This is NOT completely one handed driving. You may be using one hand on the wheel but you are using the other hand on the shifter. I was watching this video because my left thumb is broken and I’m trying to figure out how I can safely drive, using turn signals and wipers etc. with one hand only. This video does not solve my issue
Please stop, Do you know how many young people watch your channel thinking you CAN drive???? What you are teaching is either incorrect or just not okay to do when driving!!!!!! Please do not watch this guy if you are trying to learn this is unsafe and incorrect. My son just got his permitt and I would not let him drive if he did these things.
I know this is 5 months ago but u do realize if your driving a manual it's MANDATORY to drive with one hand its physically impossible to drive manual with 2 hands
In my opinion, it's something that just comes naturally. I felt comfortable driving with one hand right from the get go

I started driving with one hand when I finished driving school

Thanks to you I passed my driving test!!! I watched all your videos and got behind the wheel and did everything you taught me. You’re the best.
Good for you! I have improved my driving skill watching his tuts!
Good for you, now you're alone to drive safe.I'm gonna to take my driving lessons first by the end of this year i cannot wait :)

I’m used to driving with one hand more than 99% of the time no matter what!

I’m just watching cus I’m tryna look cool
Lol drive safe not cool. And one hand is actually easier for some
@@Iamkingmike yeah I drive a manual car and I feel more comfortable driving with one hand

This is helpful for those of us who survived a stroke and feel ready to try to get behind the wheel again.
I’m 16 i had my stroke at 15 2 days before my 16 birthday

Yes! For me, it's the fact that my left wrist is broken and I'm casted

Could I pull the gear with my left hand? Because my right hand is very weak from my brain tumor and I can’t really function it
The only way I can see anyone be able to comfortably drive using their left hand on the clutch would be if they were driving a car with the driver's side being on the right.
I have never drove with two hands even when i was training
can you tell me please if I have problem with left hand what I can drive
You are an amazing driver

this helps for us whose first cars are old stick shifts lol
I have only one hand i have lost my second hand in electric shock accident can I drive with only one hand please reply me
are you left handed or right handed
I drive with one hand but do fail the driving test if u drive with one hand?
Actively Anime they will most likely fail you
If I'm not too late, risk is right. I'd save the one hand driving until after your tests. Good luck!
You'll fail 100%. You can do it while shifting but you shouldn't shift in a corner anyway
My dad drive's with his thumb at the bottom of wheel.

if you are not ok with that then don't just use it. He helped me a lot because i am one handed.

I would crash If make a turn with two hands one hand is way easier
