We traveled to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic in October 2023, and Ocean El Faro is the first of three All Inclusive resorts we stayed at!
This video will show you everything about Ocean El Faro! Just got back last week. I selected this resort based on your review. Thank you. I love it❤ it was fun. Your video and review on point. My family and I enjoyed the food though with some extra hot sauce. Lots of varieties. Too much to eat. The buffet has different food themes every day (oriental, Dominican, American, Italian, Mexican, Mediterranean etc). Room stocked up daily with drinks (including beer, Pepsi, Fanta, sprite.….). Room service from 11am to 11pm and 24/7 for privilege members. We had ordered appetizer, main course, soup, salad and dessert. No charge of course. My teenagers loved it. Beach volleyball daily at 11am. Good music. I can go on and on 🤣🤣🤣It's all-inclusive you only give tips. Staff very friendly.. Resort clean. Spacious rooms and high-pressure shower. I highly recommend it. 💪🏾🥳❤

We did have a little hot tub in our room, but other than that, we did not see open-air hot tubs in the pool areas

Thanks for the video, it was helpful! was there only one buffet? at lunch time the option is only the snack bar or the buffet, is there anything else? any buffet at beach side?

There’s only one buffet, which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.
For lunch you can either go to the buffet or the snack bar.
But for dinner you have a wide range of options to choose between the restaurants.
There’s no buffet at the beach side. There are some restaurants which are for either exclusive members or the El Beso (which is the adult only part of the resort, and you should have the reservation and the wrist band for that part).

All the restaurants, coffee shop and bars are included and you don’t pay for any food or drink, unless you want a bottle of wine or champagne, then you need to buy it.

Is Mike's Coffee shop very pricey, we plan on going Nov 12th 2023
It’s an all inclusive resort, so you don’t pay for any of the restaurants and Mike’s coffee shop.

Hi 🙂 beach was pretty seaweed free and clean! there's actually a time stamp in the video description, at 15:49 mark, that takes you right to the beach section to see it for yourself!

No it wasn't that bad to make you ill, but it wasn't tasty, the variety of food was low, and it didn't feel fresh

They’re both really good, but we would pick Ocean el faro for its beach, environment and vibe 😍

Between Ocean El Faro and Serenade, our recommendation is Ocean El Faro for sure. We had a blast at this resort.

The food is delicious and there are lots of a la carte restaurants you can choose from.
The variety of food that we mentioned in the video was only about the buffet. But still the food is good.
