This is such a great video, thank you Wenzes. I found points 2 and 3 particularly useful as I never thought about looking for places that lack my soft skills, usually it’s the other way around. Also I can have high expectations for the jobs and environment I want to work in so 3. was great reminder to view it as an improvement. Strategies that have helped me: - seeing my current reality as an opportunity / ‘training’ for my bigger vision - understanding my strengths and limitations - knowing my needs and values and evaluating how well a job fits that - volunteering to help me stay motivated 😊
Early in my career I asked myself, “Why do I work in oilfield which is sometimes considered the ‘bad guys’ (polluting and greedy) when I feel so altruistic, trustworthy, giving?” Answer: Because that is where I will make the most difference. I also was creative, a skill that lends itself well to market-driven product development which was my role. Regarding getting help, I wasn’t looking for another job but realized my resume and LinkedIn profile had gone stale. I hired a career coach to help but made sure to be engaged and not have her just create cookie cutter versions. It had to reflect me, and I emphasized things which I felt were important even when we disagreed. It helped that she knew me and that "in an earlier life" (job) we worked together in the lab so she had a good idea of the value I could bring to the table.
It is very important to make others feel safe. Once that feeling of safety is established that interaction or relationship will flourish. In sales , life, business, social and any other arena. 9:45

Hey, I just wanted to say thank you for your help. I’ve been watching you and your content for a while now this is the first time I reached out again. I just wanted to tell you thank you you’ve been a big help and I appreciate the good work you do
Utter bullshit. I did all of this. And still, after a month i got other peoples mistakes rammed down my throat again, to fix them again. Managers do not care. The current one actually told me. I care about roles not people.
Unfortunately, many managers in corporations have narcissistic personality traits, they never care about people. They are also unable to appreciate the interpersonal skills of an employee, because in their narcissistic world such skills mean nothing.
SUPER off-topic but the INFJ epic life poster does not look visually pleasing at all. Coming from a graphic designer, I would definitely say that it could've been designed better.
What strategies have helped you in the job hunt process as an Investor INFJ?
Abilities.

I’ve got a job interview coming up. I’ll have to keep these points in mind!
My favorite interview type is where I can tell stories of working with or resolving the issues they are asking about.
@@joyleencamiellegreene Those are great aren’t they?

Sounds like a manager of bad character. When it’s part of their job to seek the performance of an employees character.
