It is said that war losses by the Vistula River in 1939-1945 include half a million works of art. Tomasz Śliwiński from the Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sport also cites another estimate, according to which Poland lost a total of 70% of its entire cultural heritage...
Some were lost forever, but there were also those that miraculously managed to be found and saved.

Colonel Moskwin returned home from the front.
The war is over. Everyone tried to forget what had been going on in Europe for several years. Colonel Moskvin tried it too. He returned to his old profession. He wanted to lead a normal life, like before the war. And just like before the war, he still used trams. During one such trip, he began to stare at a newspaper being read by someone.
