It has survived. I've just watched a clip and the crater is filling with water again, and Vulcan Point is still there. It's just the rock now, no vegetation. You can see it at 0:21 as the drone goes over it, but then towards the end of the video th-cam.com/video/Bx-gsysrIJM/w-d-xo.html

the little island is inside a volcano cone lake which is inside a large lake which is inside a huge volcano caldera on Luzon Island, many Filipinos don't know about the caldera.
