It was a super volcano. It sank due to it’s major eruption 5,000 years ago. The volcano lost its strength and sank, formed a caldera. And this Pinay London Based student Volcanologist mentioned the west valley fault system is connected to Pansipit River. Meaning from Marikina all the way to tagaytay bulkan taal to Lemery where Pansipit River is situated.
Do not forget the 47 active features on Taal coming out of magma chamber...along with 2 different "monsoon" seasons and 15 typhoons adverage oh an earthquakes ...So what is there to worry about an active volcano?

I, from America, was there only 3 months after this video was uploaded. I can't believe so many people live at the base of an active volcano, but as long as there are tourists both domestic and foreign (such as myself) there will be people to brave the dangers.
Dear sincey america territories islands north of guam have many active submerge volcanoes and above ground volcanoes, the people who were moved from each island with those volcanoes still now desire to go back, mt. Pagan is their home. Officially these islands are uninhabited.

They did warned us, however, we didn't give focus on the warninga given by them.
