Justin’s as good at academics as he is at football. Got a little tutoring from him in college biology. A lot of the team places an importance on academics. Can’t buy that with money. I like what my dude represents for Oregon.
Oregon’s AD has had athletes that meet academic scholarship requirements long before the athletic requirements. The reason they can run the offenses they have is solely because of that. This young man is the epitome of the kind of player Oregon has been trying to show the world. And now that the fire has been started it will spread.

FolkTheo let’s be real man Washington is terrible. Oregon actually has a decent chance to win the north this year. They get both Stanford and Washington at home and those are really there only two hard games. And Oregon’s defense is way better than people think they kept them in so many games last year they had no business being in.

Not saying either way that I want the Miami Dolphins to draft Justin Herbert or not. I stopped worrying too much about those type of things. Just gonna leave things up to this new regime (whom, by-the-way, has done a good job so) to make what they think are the best decisions for the organization. But hearing those descriptions given to Herbert by the coaches in this video, sounds to me like a Brian Flores type of guy!!!

In the NFL, Maroita has been inconsistent besides tearing teams up this year, but I still think Herbert will have a good shot at Heisman. It's not nearly the same thing as 2015 with Marcus where everyone just got wide open. Against Stanford, Herbert tore that defense apart until the whole ball security thing got out of hand thanks to bad snaps, and the fumble that let Stanford get the final touchdown to tie the game.

As a Stanford fan I like Justin and believe he is a great player, but I don't think he will take the ducks to the pac 12 title game. Oregon still needs a better D and some improvements on offence. At first I thought Oregon would be a hard game for Stanford but after seeing Oregon D letting Bowling Green get 24 points I took it off as a game to be thinking of. More worried about ND and Wash then Oregon. Justin will make it a game for a while vs teams like Stanford and Wash but Oregon's D will fail many times this year. I see Oregon getting a 8-4 record and a 3rd place spot in the pac 12 north.
