Wonderful video. It was so nice to see Utrecht, I love those resto's along by the canal and there are so many cool bars/cafe's in that area. Great to see that Lisa likes her new bike, she wears it well ! I've never been to Maastricht but it looks like a place worth a visit. Those Frites looked so good. Lekker Lekker !
Thanks Ronan! Both Utrecht and Maastricht are really nice. We almost skipped out on Maastricht but it's definitely well worth a stop. We've been cycling quite a bit in the last couple of weeks and so far so good! 😋
Wow lovely video and great that you have visited the Netherlands. Glad you liked the poffertjes 😊. I think Milli looks very cool, and Lisa you looked great on Bike Mickey. Sad that you’re leaving 😢 Hope to see you back in the Netherlands some time. 😘👋
Andrea and Lisa, congratulations for your channel, I've been watching channels on the topic you're dealing with for a few years now, but you're the best with various very good, simple explanations of what's experienced in nomadic life. Could you please make an episode specifically about countries that do not belong to the European Union, we need insurance, road taxes, etc. Also, you are welcome in our little Cyprus, it would be an interesting destination. Thank you and good luck on your travels. 👍🙂
Such a good film guys - Maastricht looks amazing and what a great spot for an aires so close to the city at a sensible price. We're paying about 1.83 in Ireland by the way (for diesel) We love the way you two tour towns and cities - views, snacks and facts!
Thanks as always Nicky & Kevin! We should take a page out of your book and walk / run / hike more and eat less!! We have to go south for warmer weather and cheaper diesel! 😜
Thank you! Traveling we can recommend, filming while travelling has its challenges though. 😋 We use very simple gear, you can find a list here : amzn.to/3OjMwgK
We were in Maastricht a year ago and we stayed in Papillon - we actually had the pitch next to the end one where you stayed. A great city and well worth a visit
Ah super video 👌 Best bitterballen is definitely in the Netherlands. We ate better waffles in Belgium 😋 The "poffertjies" look so delicious 😋 Safe travels🙏
You're from a psychiatric hospital ? It all makes sense now..... "One flew over the Cuckoo's nest" I hope ye don't get in trouble for being absent for so long.... Sorry, couldn't resist. @@WeWillNomad
Hi Andre.. I’m interested to know what you guys are planning to do with your drone .. whilst in Morocco? We did Morocco last winter and didn’t take our drone ? Or have you applied for a special license?
Not sure yet. We're thinking of leaving our drone and Bicycles in Spain. Definitely not up for any hassles. But I'm already sad to have to be without the drone.
@@WeWillNomad ah ok. We will miss your drone shots for sure. I think you can leave your drone in the ticket office in Algeciras. Not sure about your bikes though. 😎
Just fun fact. Not sure if you realised . @04:22 you were on a square watch the Domtoren (scaffold though). In the pavement you see grey and red stones in a pattern. Where you stood there was another part of the church but over time demolished. So, centuries back you would be actually standing inside a church.
That's pretty cool! We're from a 'young' country and it's so incredible to find history in cities like these that predates even the first settlers in South Africa.
@@r.a.h7682 the water is not the problem. Just a lot of stuff floating around the canals . Also lots of garbage. Bottles , packaging and cigarette butts to be seen. Not unique to any country or city. It's pretty common everywhere.
Outside the walls of Maastricht is where d'Artagnan was killed during the siege of the city. A piece of real history!
The siege of Maastricht! Incredible.
Maastricht is the city where I was born and Groningen is the city I live now, nice to see how you both find the cities.
Wonderful video.

Nice video👍👍, maybe next year a hering in a city near the sea...❓
Thanks! Yes, we thought that might be a better idea. 😁

Thanks Rita! We'll definitely come back, we still need to see a bit of the coast there 😊😉

Thank you for your kind words! We would LOVE to visit Cyprus - hopefully one day soon. I'll put your idea for a video on our list. Thanks for that!

It's definitely a city that warrants more time to properly explore. Thanks for your comment!
Looking good 👍 lots to see n savour 🎉
Stay Free and Safe Travels 😀 🙏 ✨
Thank you! You too! ❤😋
❤ tank you for sharing another video kisses
Thank you too ❤
You visited 2 of the 3 oldest cities in the Netherlands: Maastricht, Nijmegen, Utrecht. 😊
Next time we'll have to go to Nijmegen then! Thanks for your comment! 😊

yes! Lisa was worried we might miss out on waffles but we should have waited for Belgium 😋😂
There was a section when you were walking through a square and it almost looked like a drone - was that the extended selfie stick?
That's correct. It's a 3m 'invisible' stick for the 360 camera. Now we just have to figure out how to hide the shadow. 😁
Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
To bad you didn’t visite Valkenburg.
we drove right past there! Fun fact, Valkenburg is the name of a psychiatric hospital in Cape Town (where we're from)

Maybe the fuel is a bit expensive but with the taxes on fuel you get a nice camperspot and excellent roads 😉
For sure. The roads are pretty damn good yes! Probably some of the best in Europe - in our opinion!

Question: did you use afrikaans on the Dutch? They should be able to understand you.
To an extend they can understand Afrikaans. But it depends on the area as well. Afrikaans is probably 'closer' to Flemish.
