Yea, also not a fan of fasts on rest days. What works for me is to keep my calories stable all week and to know that I can eat what I want and as much as I need - when I follow this method I eat in moderation, maintain my weight, and make positive gains. Slashing calories in half and severe restriction leads to overeating and extreme anxiety every single time.
Really really enjoy these podcast! The way I eat is I'm in a slight surplus threw out the week and eat more on the weekends because of my work schedule threw out the week. I eat the same on rest days I also do my cardio or active recovery on my off days. Plus on rest days I'm recovering so I like to eat the same
