  • I’ve been wanting one of these for months and finally found a place that shipped for free. This is a well made gun that’s really fun to shoot. Check out these videos for additional technical info to prevent damage to your PSM45.

    I recently got a bunch of these springy bb guns, I think this one is my favorite

      I’ve always liked these style guns and have another model currently in pieces in a box. It was one of the first airguns I ever tried repairing and springs shot out, it was like it self destructed! Away in a box it sat for 15-17 year. It’s from the 00’s and I started looking into fixing it the other day.

    Good purchase. I have 2 off them. I bought the first one and dropped the mag on the garage floor and it busted open and the spring went flying and the plastic split into two sections. You are correct there is a metal weight in the magazine. I tried to order a new mag but Crosman didn't offer that so I went ahead and ordered a second gun then after weeks of trying I was able to get the broken mag back together and it works ok until it gets down to 2 or 3 bb's left then it doesn't feed to well. I bought 4 other of the cheap spring ( carnival ) guns to shoot in the garage for fun when its cold. The PSM45 is by far the best.

      I’m glad to hear you are having good luck with yours! 👍 Bummer they don’t sell magazines separately, that’s really unfortunate.
      My gun just turned into a jam-o-matic this afternoon. I’m bummed out as I really liked it.
      Carnival gun is the term I was trying to think of. Thanks!

      I know, right!? 😄 I gotta practice though, 50’ is a long ways away. This one doesn’t seem as consistent accuracy wise as my 1980’s Daisy 188.

    Greetings from texas!
    I have been getting into more replica style pistols recently. I currently own the sig p226 and glock 17 gen 5 pellet. I just aquired the umarex sa10 and looking to get some walthers, more sigs. I like BB's bust I also enjoy the replica factors when purchasing. I always find myself going between 9mm, 22lr and pellets. Depending on how cheap I am at the time😂

    • @airgunsofalaska
      @airgunsofalaska  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m bummed 9mm has increased in price so much over the years. For a while there it wasn’t too bad in price to plink all the time.
      I like the replica style BB guns. I was stoked on this one but after making this video it started malfunctioning pretty badly in the afternoon. Looks like I’ll end up teaching myself how to take it apart.

      @@airgunsofalaska I was just thinking, you don't think there might be a BB stuck inside there somewhere do you? Maybe it misfed and ended up floating around in there somewhere? I don't know just a thought because that cheap Daisy spring pistol did that to me a few times. Well, before it broke completely and I threw it away.

      @@trevorjameson3213 I’ve shaken it a few times listening and wasn’t hearing anything. Seem like the majority of the time if it didn’t shoot the BB out after jamming it would fall out of the grip after removing the magazine.

    • @airgunsofalaska
      @airgunsofalaska  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I really like it (while it was working properly). If it was damaged in the manner I was shooting it however than I won’t be impressed and ultimately consider it a cheap piece of garbage not worth buying. It irritates me that I may have to disassemble a brand new gun so quickly after buying it.
      Right now I’m just going to be patient and wait for the black BB’s to arrive and see if they work better.

    • @yoitired
      @yoitired 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@airgunsofalaska I think the idea of the gun is great; minimal fiddling to get it shooting, low charging effort, cheapest ammo in existence. They put some higher quality plastic into it that's a good sign. Maybe the premium bbs will be better, I'd be grumpy if I had to use expensive ammo to make a cheap gun run although that seems to be a law of nature😄

      @@airgunsofalaska Better keep those sunglasses handy they might be even bouncier than the regulars! Hey have you heard of the Snowpeak T-rex and its bullpup? I've been looking at them on Krale, they look very competitive with the Flash in terms of price, power, weight and features. IDK how Hatsan managed to double the weight of the Flash with their regulated version🙄but yeah whenever I'm ready to break into .25 I might go for the T-rex it looks so cool

      @@yoitired I just looked it up and I’m not a big fan of Snowpeak but that’s only based upon my Dragonfly experience. Their mid priced PCP’s might be really good? Does the T-Rex use a plastic breech? I can’t tell if it’s a plastic shroud around the same Stormrider breech with a different bolt handle or a whole new unit?
