Hi! Can you please link the drawer organizers you use to separate your items since they don’t list the dimensions online? :) also, would you say the Berkeley water quality is good enough to just drink straight from the tap? Thank you for making these videos!
Hi! I use this kind of closet divider: www.amazon.com/MaidMAX-Hanging-Closet-Organizer-Foldable/dp/B01GNN49Q8. If you're in the dorms at Berkeley, there aren't really tap water sinks besides those in the bathroom. I would say that drinking water from there is safe, but personally since the water is from the sink in the bathroom it feels kinda weird vs water from a kitchen sink, haha if that makes sense, so that's why water filters are useful!
Hey, do you reccommend buying certains stuff specifically back at home? like do bed sheets or and other stuff usually runs out from stores in Berkeley?
Depends on where you are moving from! For me, moving from Maryland, it made more sense to buy the main items at Berkeley since I didn’t have much space in my suitcases for my flight. If you’re driving to Berkeley, you could buy more things in your hometown! Near Berkeley by car, there’s an IKEA, Costco, Target so you could buy dorm items there!
You would have to have friends store your things or most people use a storage unit! If you have friends or family that are in the area or they have an apartment and are staying over the summer, you can ask them to store your boxes. Otherwise, renting a storage unit and storing your items there! I used a storage unit between my junior and senior year and it is easy enough - just need someone with a car, or rent a car, to transport your items to the storage unit!
Not sure of the exact height and it would depend on the residence hall - like bunk bed vs bed on the floor etc. But usually, the beds may have dressers underneath the bed. If they don't, then you can typically fit tupperware down there!

My question is where do you put all of your dorm stuff during Summer break when freshman year is over if you live out of state

@@rachel_lin thank you kindly
I know this video is old, but do you know the height from the bed frame to the floor? In berkeley residence halls

do you know if we’re allowed to bring a hair dryer or flat iron into the dorms?
For Berkeley, you should be able to bring those items! For other colleges, double check your school’s dorm rules, but they probably are allowed! ☺️
Very helpful videos!
Thank you!! 🥰😋
