When Tokyo got their version of this in 1988, I wonder if there were preliminary plans for them to get "Vacation" as well (which they *DID* in 1994) because the log seen in Vacation & Christmas was part of Jingle Bell Jamboree in Tokyo from day 1 in 1988.
this is a rare footage of the country bear Christmas special in Disneyland you could tell because zeke got his old banjo and max, melvin, and buff are on the oppisote
And 5 bear rugs stand still has the green one with the shield and the vacation hoedown is the one with the logs which they're used after the vacation hoedown premiered in 1986
1985ish to be exact, the five bear rugs platform is seen to still have the original 1972 green platform frame, it was never replaced again after Vacation hoedown added the log platform frame
@@SlushysSecret would've been nice if they relocate that 1972 platform to WDW if they want to use it for either the Refurbishment or the original show. Since theirs must've gotten abandoned or Destroyed after replaced with the log one
What a gorgeous artifact. Miss the heck outta this show, this era. Many hundred thank yous.
Oh my god this video contains a very rare record of the dialogues between max, melvin and buff at the very end of the show! This is pure gold!!!

Zeke is also illustrated as a black bear rather than gray fur in the Disneyland version
Max buff Melvin were always on the opposite side in Disneyland what makes it rare is the diolauge at the end
@@Jaxetds2019 and Max & Melvin were on opposite ends of the wall than they are in Florida
Around 1986ish
same year I saw it for the first time.

@@cecanimatronicguy7403 It really depends if they destroyed the Disneyland show or that it’s hopefully in a storage facility that disney has somewhere
