Feeling relaxed & cosy. I need to have freedom & independence to do what I want to do whenever I want to do it & wherever feels right to me to do it. However, I also need to have stability to keep me grounded. I feel that freedom & stability do work together to make my life complete, & I feel that I get this from The Order. Philip that was a wonderful meditation. I felt so light when I shape shifted into a butterfly then into a falling leaf. Blessings. Enjoy your retreat in Wales.💚💚✌️✌️
I think James Russell's comment: "a vast variety of wild individuals coming together in respect and love" is just wonderful. I think it should be engraved somewhere!😊
Just to add to the October sabbath appreciation from my perspective. Love the leaves that turn every color, love the brisk winds that welcome new sweaters, love the fall harvest in every garden of herbs and vegetable, I love the rainstorm that beckon new changes to come, I love fall cooking and warm conversations under clouded skies with promising futures. I live in Montreal and winter can be beastly. Blessings to all. Kara
Many thanks Philip for a great discussion and a wonderful meditation. Personally, I hate rules and need to be free, however, I love being part of something definite - I love the coziness of family :) I have been a member of OBOD for 30ish years and one of the things I love about the Order, is that it gives me the structure that I need, whilst allowing me the freedom to be myself. Many thanks again, for all :)
I have never finished the Bards course and probably because I need a tutor who links with me as such (need a bit of encouragement when do not feel confident). I feel that someone from the UK would be good-super cool because I am a bit independent in my own way. Example at school I really got my first telling off when I was supposed to do a creative woodwork task as an infant-went off into the painting room and started painting my creation...we were supposed to get them varnished.. Maybe its meant to be that way. Am enjoying doing my friend's garden, am busy teaching (necessary chore for now that gives me some freedom of creativity at least). I like checking into Tea with a Druid because that is my touch base with the magic of the order. I feel I am getting this extraordinary chance to learn something each time even if at the time I do not always understand everything-I feel the magic and wisdom :) Thank you Being based in Central France if there is a group here that do have meetings (French side)-that could be cool.

Just the topic that was unsettling me. Just the conversation I needed to hear to calm me. Thank you Phillip.
