oh, dear lord, I'm here for this content, I ran into the fridge full force when the original spiderman came out ( I was 5 at the time chill). Made my mom think I killed myself but I but learned that I indeed didn't have spidy powers, sad and weird for everyone.
This turned out so beautifully amazing! The legs and pecs reaaaally sell it and you really do look like a stalky, fit Peter. I also appreciate the mention of binder safety. I’m ftm myself and have one from gc2b as well. This is downright astounding! Edit: another thing I’ve found from the spidey cosplayers I follow on insta- it’s all about the face shells! It’ll round out the nose and keep the spandex off your lips and you can take it off with the mask so you still get that Peter underneath! Forewarning, I’m told they’re very sweaty lol.

if you're going to carve foam in the future I recommend getting an electric carving knife. It's makes things a lot faster and gives a smoother end result.
And when I got stuck in buffering for like a minute, it was paused with the captions saying "because I have no idea how to sew". xD Not even a mistake on the part of the caption generator, just a wrong stopping point, but equally hilarious. (The full onscreen caption was actually "suit myself because I have no idea how to sew" but it hardly matters.)
I've been wanting to do a male cosplay of my own, but I've been insecure because I don't have the pshycial build for the character. This has given me so much confidence! I think I'm going to do it now! 😀
Word of advice to newbs making duct tape dress forms: People used to just stuff these with newspaper or upholstery stuffing and it works just fine! Sure it's sliiightly heavier, but it's cheap and won't make a mess. Old newspapers are free and plentiful if you ask around! As long as you don't store the dress form in a damp closet (which you shouldn't do with fabric either), there's nothing wrong with this option. Upholstery stuffing is best to get in bulk because you'll need a lot of it; don't get the expensive stuffing from a chain fabric or craft store that's meant for stuffed animals and pillows; if you search a little you may be able to find the much cheaper coarser upholstery-grade stuff in bulk. If you are a person who still collects too many plastic bags, they make great stuffing as well! :)
This is so crazy how switching body proportions made me completely forget that it's you in the costume there! I had to remind that to myself) such a good job and I'm proud that you had the ambition to even start such a long process, but actually completing it is legendary

I love how you recreated that scene at the end, it gave me all of the childhood nostalgia. My brother and I loved Spider-Man he was probably our favorite superhero and we would dress up like him too (I only did it sometimes because I would have to borrow one of his costumes, and he was more into it than I was most of the time). I do remember I had a “spider girl” costume but I didn’t like it that much because it was a dress with this tutu skirt and what I had wanted was just a slightly more feminine Spider-Man costume (I love dresses but that costume was not it and I would have honestly rather had a Spider-Man costume instead but 🤷♀️). Actually there was this narrow hallway in our house and one day when my brother and I were playing, we discovered that if we jumped and put our arms and legs out we would “stick” to the walls. We then proceeded to play and climb the walls and go get our mom to show her our discovery (she was not too impressed since she was concerned about our safety but didn’t prevent us from doing it and having our fun)
yesss, I stopped everything for this video edit: when I was little I was in LOVE with spiderman, I named my moms spider pant Peter and this one time I tried to run up the outside wall at Walmart and I fell and scraped my knee while trying to test out if I had any spidey powers
Rachel, my 6yr old son loves Spiderman and we've been making costumes together over the summer. He designs them and I do the sewing, or whatever is needed. So this was really fun for us to watch together! Thank you!

A Spiderman tutorial normally would fall between 3 & 6 on the 1-10 scale, biased on how much you like Spiderman or superheroes in general (I am somewhere in the middle). The energy you brought into it though, brought it to a 8 or 9. It was wonderful!

This is awesome! I’m a bit late to the party... totally get the giddy kid vibes. I spent a few months making a headless horseman costume. Designed a frame and everything that strapped around my chest and kept everything in place. Being a woman, it was fun transforming into something I loved. Even wore the costume to see the Philadelphia Orchestra perform their Halloween concert where costumes were encouraged. I redid it the following year to be more structured and realistic. 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Love this and all your videos... endless giggles! Your humor makes my day.
This is fantastic. Being able to cosplay as the characters you love without having to make concessions like gender bending isn't something I ever expected to see but you pulled this off so well! Spider-man is my favourite superhero as well :)

To anyone who wants to attempt this! Here’s some tips!: Dont use Saran Wrap. Use paper towels! Start from the ankles and go up. Only do one leg and one arm on one side! You won’t cook inside a sweat factory with paper towels:) Stuff dummy with newspaper! No need for that weird ass foam 😆

It's all so much fun to watch, regardless of whether it's your usual more vintage stuff or whether it's cosplay :) I discovered your channel about a month ago now and I've just been racing through watching everything :') I wasn't sure whether I would like the cosplay videos at first but I gave it a go and they're so much fun to watch :) They kind of remind me of a kids' show we have in Australia called 'Play School', because I used watch that when I was little and just be itching to try the same craft things as they did, now your more craft-oriented videos have become my adult version of that hahaha I love it!
I laughed SO HARD through this whole video 😂 It reminded me of when I was 14 and my mom made me duct tape her up for a dress form. It was such a hilarious fiasco, and then she decided we needed to make a plaster mold instead. It just got more and more hilarious and awful 👌🏻

I’m slowly catching up on all your old videos but this one was so good in so many ways!! 1) Hilarious 2) Informative 3) Cross dressing can be so much fun and I LOVE how this suit turned out and actually makes you look like Spiderman and not just a gender-bended Spiderman lady. It’s like when you did Jack Sparrow, you were actually Jack Sparrow. LOVE IT!!
This is amazing! Oh and you can get plumbers expanding foam premixed in the tubes that you use in caulk guns. Could help minimise the mess as you dont have to bung it all in at once. Especially if making smaller models (hands and feet etc if making boots and gauntets fir different costumes?)
couple things: first off, this is a super cool project! If it really hasn't been done, it will help a lot of people with female anatomy who want to build a male-figure cosplay. Very nice! second; I also worked to unlock this "suit" and use it as reference, because I have a male body and I want it to look like spider-man. ...It worked out great, and lastly, you could easily do classic MJ, so now you can be spidey and MJ at the same time xD
I'll be honest that I kinda skimmed at first and my initial reaction was "Wow. Guess MJ was pissed at Peter so decided to throw him off by turning into spider-man herself" Then I rewatched and remembered why I adore your videos xD

It's all so much fun to watch, regardless of whether it's your usual more vintage stuff or whether it's cosplay :) I discovered your channel about a month ago now and I've just been racing through watching everything :') I wasn't sure whether I would like the cosplay videos at first but I gave it a go and they're so much fun to watch :) They kind of remind me of a kids' show we have in Australia called 'Play School', because I used watch that when I was little and just be itching to try the same craft things as they did, now your more craft-oriented videos have become my adult version of that hahaha I love it!
I laughed SO HARD through this whole video 😂 It reminded me of when I was 14 and my mom made me duct tape her up for a dress form. It was such a hilarious fiasco, and then she decided we needed to make a plaster mold instead. It just got more and more hilarious and awful 👌🏻

I love that you wanted to be Spiderman and you didn't compromise or let the fact that information on how to do that in your situation was not available. I’m slowly catching up on all your old videos but this one was so good in so many ways!! 1) Hilarious 2) Informative 3) Cross dressing can be so much fun and I LOVE how this suit turned out and actually makes you look like Spiderman and not just a gender-bended Spiderman lady. It’s like when you did Jack Sparrow, you were actually Jack Sparrow. LOVE IT!!
I totally need a muscle suit being that I'm a.... guy and all... without muscles.
This is amazing! Oh and you can get plumbers expanding foam premixed in the tubes that you use in caulk guns. Could help minimise the mess as you dont have to bung it all in at once. Especially if making smaller models (hands and feet etc if making boots and gauntets fir different costumes?)

couple things: first off, this is a super cool project! If it really hasn't been done, it will help a lot of people with female anatomy who want to build a male-figure cosplay. Very nice!
second; I also worked to unlock this "suit" and use it as reference, because I have a male body and I want it to look like spider-man.
...It worked out great, and lastly, you could easily do classic MJ, so now you can be spidey and MJ at the same time xD
