Can't remember all the gear I had but here's my guess. The most important thing I had was fallen bishop card +7 [isilla] skull cap [isilla] sunglasses +8 thorn staff of darkness (see combo with skull cap) +9 [despero of thanatos] magic bible vol1 [fallen bishop] diabolus boots 2x [zerom] orleans's glove (maybe I had 1-2 brisingamen instead but I'm not sure)

The mobs are positioned by a wall such that they are out of line of sight, while still within attack range (2 cells, can be diagonal). If you did it correctly, it's possible it just doesn't work on whatever server you're on. I know it doesn't work on most private servers. The video was from a iRO Classic, an official pre-renewal server.
Since the server has died, I'm fine with admitting it. Yes, I was using autopot here. I was very against the use of autopot in WoE at the time, but PvM is kinda whatever. I didn't use it that often in PvM though, just a few special occasions/operations like this. I could've done it about as effectively without autopot though. Also kiting effectively is much more important. A couple fire attacks from salamanders can blow you up while not wearing fire armor. Swapping brynhild and fire armor was very important when crossing bow guardians as well since they casted arrow repel (RSX carded fire armor would've been amazing).

I played on iRO Loki I think from 2004-2005 when I was 10-11 years old and had no idea what I was doing, got strength on my wizard because I had to get strength on my sorceress in diablo 2 so it had to make sense in ragnarok too. I learned to vertical firewall back then, that's about it. I quit for a year or two and started fresh on iRO Chaos from probably 2007-2011 (quit after renewal came out). I had the intention of doing things right that time. Got the right stats, once I got wizard I started soloing stalactic golems where I started learning more complicated tricks with firewall and ice wall. Firewalled my first mvp in 2008. I was able to do high end mvps and also did the owl baron farming exploit by the end of this time. I started again on iRO classic in like 2013 until it shut down in like 2018. I had gotten into some exploits before, but things were going to get much more serious on iRO classic. Started out with majoruros farming, which results in 120 minorous kills per minute. Got temporarily banned for that and patched, so I swapped to mi gao farming where I made probably 30+ characters 99/70. Played on private servers from this point too. I remember ggRO, DoM, RoM, random WoE servers. Also played on iRO Re:Start where I made a trapper and had a lot of fun with that. Renewal mechanics are okay. Couple imbalanced things like knights, and then it's ruined by acid bomb and then third classes. Now I mostly play starcraft 2.
That might have to be a separate video. It’s basically the same way as you can see from my robot herding video, but a little bit different (and time consuming and difficult) because they’re boss type.
@@jalum8 Unfortunately, the server I performed this on is gone, so I'll just give an explanation. It is a very difficult setup, with a lot to understand, but I hope it is helpful. Also keep in mind this bug worked on official pre-renewal servers. Renewal mechanics prevented this method. I don't think this works on private servers either. The mobs will usually bug if there are at least 2 cells for them to move between, and there are more mobs than there are available cells to stand on. So in this case, there are 2 cells that the mobs are bugged on. There needs to be at least 3 mobs to get it going. So you need to guide the mobs with ice wall, and when they move onto the rest of the mobs, block the "available cell" they moved from so that they're stuck on those 2 cells. It's difficult with boss mobs because 1 ice wall will make them stuck, while nonboss mobs can move out of ice wall if they're traveling south or west. However, you can avoid the difficult setup if you can tank all of the mobs on the map at once. Just get them in and ice wall (careful of ganbantein)

This was for drops. Meteo plate and sword guardian cards in particular at the time. exp is decent but I had nothing to level.

Tried this and they just teleport when rude attacked, as they should. Is there something I'm missing? Do I need to get the wizard right next to them?
