And for the question I actually came here for: what causes FBH's slaves to become permanently passive? I know how to bug slaves, but FBH's slaves are unique in that they continue to stay passive when FBH acquires a target. Does it occur when they use the skill that makes them go passive and then get bugged as per normal?
Nope, never hitlock like that. Are you referring to anything that has happened? I'm interested. Yeah I figured out why they bugged like that in 2015 or so. All mobs actually bug when they get recalled mid movement (not chasing, but moving to follow the mvp or in this case, the banshees move freely). And you're exactly right, they go passive and then they get bugged like that. If they don't go passive, they're simply immobile until someone enters chase range. And btw I still have many of your requested videos in mind. I'll probably just publish them soon. Off the top of my head they were.. bio3 bugging related video diagonal firewall (haven't done this but I'll get like 2-3 succesful ones and just publish) hmm can't think of many right now if that's not all of them. Feel free to remind or request them again.
@@squirreluh Nah, it's just something I started doing in Renewal. It does work in Classic too. It's pretty braindead, just SG from max range(+1 to avoid HJ spam) and it can't move towards you at all. He won't GC/GD and teleport either, since HJ cooldown is continuously being reset. Ifrit and true form Beelze can be hitlocked with SG as well, but I'm pretty sure Ifrit's slaves would destroy you if you were to do that in Classic. I've done it a few times but i'm not always to replicate it... do they need to be idle upon being hit maybe or does the distance matter for some reason? I've pulled it off on Thanatos and Valkyrie randgris
@@Ralgondo Yes, distance does matter. you need to be at max range for most monsters and the monster needs certain stats (if using Storm Gust) Storm Gust's ASPD is 177 (if I'm remembering right, it's been a while), so any monster in the list with a requirement of 177 ASPD can be hitlocked with it To calculate required ASPD for hitlock (credit to Playtester from rAthena for this): [(x*HitDelay - AttackedMT)
I make use of the statues to dodge the hell's judgement he casts about every 20 seconds. And if firewall is still hitting him while he casts it, he ignores the cooldown and casts it again. It would be obnoxious to tank a hell's judgement every second.
