One of my latest purchases has got me instantly in love and I cant wait to share with you my thoughts on this beauty!
Perfect for the colder months and evening wear, with its sweet warmth, Portrayal was an instant love for me.

I had to come back and let you know that I just received this decant and OH MY GOSH! This fragrance is absolutely incredible! One of my very few love at first sniffs. I never thought these notes would come together so beautifully and smoothly, but it is absolutely stunning. I rarely purchase fragrances right away, but going now to find a good deal online. Thank you for reviewing and introducing me to this beauty! 🥰🥰🥰

@@stellascented Yes I am so excited to enjoy this beauty during the colder weather! 🥰 I was already getting sad thinking about not being able to wear it in the warmer weather, but I sniffed around through some samples as it reminded me of something... and Ylang in Gold is a great option for warm weather! It’s got a very similar profile except it doesn’t have that beautiful tobacco note that Portrayal has 😉
I went to Nieman Marcus after watching all the hype around Amouage Guidance. I hated it, but came back with Portrayal, Honor 43, Lilac Love, and sample of Epic 56.
The tobacco flower and Elemi in Portrayal give this perfume a gummy depth that stays through the dry down. The jasmine is reminiscent of the final hours of the open flower just before it wilts which is a deeper, less heady version of the smell. So even the jasmine smells different than other jasmine perfumes like Amouage Honor 43 that I think captures a fresher jasmine note. Both are very beautiful.
Amazingly, the white floral lineup from Amouage - Portrayal, Honor, and Love Tuberose are all quite different becuse of the various woods and resins that take the scents in different directions. I just went and reminded myself again from the Guidance sample and my decision to skip it was correct. I’m sure some will disagree and that’s ok.
So good you made this video, was going to blind buy it but "damp" notes don't work on me so I'll pass by for now and test it first.
Thank you for reviewing this - I was intrigued and tried it out. Now I have a bottle on it's way for me. It's good to see fragrances that don't get a lot of hype showcased - leads to new discoveries!

I got this for my birthday and I was like damn this is strong but also I love heavy hitters but this one is a beast. It’s very unique I must say I’m an over sprayer but not this one

Oh my, I havent really tried anything like this but i would say its like Alien with added tobacco smoke
This perfume unisex?
It could work but you’d have to dress up for it to match its elegance. It is floral forward with hints of tobacco and not the other way around. So, to pull it off, it needs to look like a deliberate choice.
You should clarify somewhere that this is the woman version.
