My favourite perfume❤

I went to Nieman Marcus after watching all the hype around Amouage Guidance. I hated it, but came back with Portrayal, Honor 43, Lilac Love, and sample of Epic 56. The tobacco flower and Elemi in Portrayal give this perfume a gummy depth that stays through the dry down. The jasmine is reminiscent of the final hours of the open flower just before it wilts which is a deeper, less heady version of the smell. So even the jasmine smells different than other jasmine perfumes like Amouage Honor 43 that I think captures a fresher jasmine note. Both are very beautiful. Amazingly, the white floral lineup from Amouage - Portrayal, Honor, and Love Tuberose are all quite different becuse of the various woods and resins that take the scents in different directions. I just went and reminded myself again from the Guidance sample and my decision to skip it was correct. I’m sure some will disagree and that’s ok.

My fav is African leather and I don’t usually like the leather accord! Loooove the leather range of this house

This has been one of my favorite perfumes for the past decade. I’m not really a perfume girl. But one of my friends was wearing it and I had to know what it was. It’s my go to scent for the colder months.

I don't get it why people love to smell like whisky. That's what the Angel's smells like to me, and I don't get the hype personally. I am addicted to Moonlight in Heaven, though! Wasn't planning to buy anything but couldn't resist it when I first tried it at Sephora. Also, there is no such thing as feminine or masculine when it comes to fragrance, it is just a very personal choice.

Comparing the Cellars to the Liquors? ABOTR is supposed to be lighter. Otherwise, they would have just rereleased the original Apple Brandy which falls more in line with dark sweet scents like the Cellars line offers. I totally agree with you in the fact that Angel’s Share is hands down a better scent.

It has nothing to do with my life. I am an adult myself. With a job, a life and multiple hobbies, fragrance beint one of them. - how you use what you have, in what occasions you wear what perfume - a no buy, or a use-what-you-have, or a panning project - your thoughts on new releases, if they have caught your attention, and the relation to your own collection (would it fill a gap? does it remind you of something you have already? are these notes/accords that you have tried and not liked? hugs, Gudrun

I have only tested an inspiration for Rolling in Love and I love its comforting quality!

I definitely don't think it's comparable to the Tom Ford options. The leather in here swallows the cherry very quickly.

I just discovered you as I am researching cherry frags to add to my collection. I've have narrowed it down to Cherry Punk and Lost Cherry! I blind bought ATH Raw Cherry after so many folks recommending it and sadly did not care for it (that's what I get for blind buying!). Anyway - great job describing CP and how it compares to LC. Just the video I was looking for! :-) Thank you! I receive my sample of Cherry Punk tomorrow and am excited to see what I think. I absolutely love Lost Cherry but if I like CP better - that will be fantastic for the wallet. lol
