    Thank you for your videos. My husband is claustrophobic and avoid elevators at all costs. Can all floors accessible by stairs?

      You are welcome, there is a nice grand spacious old style staircase you can take to the higher floors

    I recommend you book ji hotel or atour hotel while you in China and you need to do your laundry. these two chain hotels both has very good cost-effectiveness, most importantly they has free self service laundry, and provides all the necessary supplies.

      Thanks for the great recommendation! I’ll definitely check out Ji Hotel and Atour Hotel next time I’m in China, especially for the convenience of the self-service laundry. It sounds like a really practical option for travelers!

    Love your vlogs but always intrigued by the colourful stone bracelet you are wearing. May I politely ask what stones they are? A mixture of agate, banded onyx (I seem to spot one) and carnelian?

    • @wilkowanders
      @wilkowanders  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the question, It is a bracelet I bought in Ibiza and has multuple earth stones, I am not 100 sure which ones but I loved the colours of them 💗

    the steam egg custard (around 20‘) is a very simple, humble food here (hard to make it smooth and perfect tho lol) but it tastes goooood. 🥰you can have a try the next time you see it.

    If you go to Shanghai, you must stay at the Peace Hotel, which is very famous. Presidents of many countries have lived there. The Peace Hotel is now also the most important hotel for hosting many business leaders and heads of state.French President de Gaulle, US President Richard Nixon, and Soviet leader Khrushchev all stayed at the Peace Hotel. The most important thing is that you can watch the night view, which is very beautiful. You must stay for one night in your life. The grade is very high. Laundry service in luxury hotels is very expensive, so my advice is to just buy new clothes to replace them. Because Chinese clothes are very cheap. Especially T-shirts and shorts. You can wear them for a few days and then buy a new set. You can throw away the old ones, so the cost can be reduced very low. The price of dry cleaning is too high, so you can buy new ones at this price.

    • @wilkowanders
      @wilkowanders  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll definitely keep that in mind when planning a trip to Shanghai. And that’s an interesting tip about buying clothes instead of laundry service-makes sense, especially with how affordable clothing can be in China. Appreciate the advice!

    You must visit Xinjiang or Tibet once in your life. Xinjiang is a Muslim area with a Central Asian style. The architectural style there is completely different from other places. Tibet is a Tibetan religious area with a high altitude. You can see snow-capped mountains, pure lakes, yaks, and grasslands. If you want to go to Tibet, you must take a train, otherwise you will not be able to adapt to altitude sickness by flying. If you don’t visit Xinjiang, you won’t realize how big China is. There are so many nationalities.

    Feel free to take the body lotion you like. It’s not necessary to feel sorry about that. It’s free for everyone living in this room because it’s included in your room fee. By the way, if you need laundry services, you can book a business hotel. It’s cheaper and has better facilities. For example, there are free washing machines and dryers; you just need to put your clothes in. Also, if you order delivery food, a robot can bring it to your room, which I think you may be interested in.😃

    Hi! Thank you for the video. It’s very fun to see a hotel built a hundred years ago. For the laundry, maybe try some business hotels, for example ji hotel. They usually have free washing machine and dryers.

    The quality of your videos doesn't match the amount of followers you have, you deserve to have more followers, come on, I'll be spreading the word to you in the Chinese version of Jitterbug as well, many Chinese want to follow you but unfortunately they don't have a VPN and can't watch TH-cam, so they can only comment and cheer you on in the Chinese version of Jitterbug, which I'm sure you can't see, I'm a big fan of your work, love from China.
