Michael Skobac of Jews for Judaism was the first rabbi I imprinted up upon and you were the first Jewish historian I discovered when I didn't even know what hashkafa and Yiddishkeit was. Thank you so much for being a key part of my spiritual and intellectual evolution. (And an exciting part! And enthusiasm (In theos just like inspire in spirit) to me is so critical to kavannah and volitional energy to disciplined time management because I follow a chidush I heard from R. Dr. Dovid Katz once, that Torah lishmah means for the sake of the intrinsic fun of the experience. Bibliophilia, cinnephilia, and TH-camphilia! So much to study and so little time! Prioritizing is like triage. But still, as Victor Frankel might say, endless potential gold mines of signification and meaning as balm to the existential storms of life; also mean we couldn't exhaust our hunger for more than physical matter and energy (which I've heard is half of human sustenance).)
