Secondly and lastly, the line in the chorus that says "many will meet their doom" refers to that ever-convicting, sobering and terrifying passage in Matthew 7, where we are warned by Jesus Himself that many will say to Him on that day, "Lord, Lord! Didn't we prophesy, cast out devils and perform many miracles in Your name?", but He will reply to them, "I never knew you! Depart from me, you who work iniquity!"

God is sovereign and the Bible says that He knows the end from the beginning. He knew us before we were knit together in our mother's womb. He knows the day we take our first and last breaths and as the Lord's prayer reminds us, His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. 🙏
