I just love and appreciate how authentic and honest you are in this video. I enjoyed watching this. Keep doing your thing and pay no attention to what is right or wrong on the tarot tube. Your voice counts!
Everything you share is so beautifully said (truly) and just ALWAYS appreciate your perspectives and the authentic way you show up/present yourself. Your content is truly moving and SO appreciated. Thanks for being ‘you’ ❤
Looks at the running time and thinks Jul has already come! I'll be knitting and watching later for sure. I love listening to folks talk about their collection; what they love/don't love, how they use them, various musings on tarot etc Doesn't even matter if they are some decks I've no interest in, it's always interesting to see what others see in them. 💜
Amazing Froud score! I would love to see video content of your using your cards in real-life. How do they function for you, etc... I always carry a few divination tools since teen years and am curious how others utilize them in the wild...thanks for sharing! Loved watching this.
I so enjoyed this! (inkysword here 😅 glad to hear you are enjoying the Black Enchantment Oracle as well - I find I have to basically just throw out his guidebooks because his world view makes no sense to me, and often I find the reversed meanings more relateable?) Can't wait to see your Nightmare Children of the Tristate Area series if that is still on the docket!
Oh it's very much still on the docket. And yes! In his descriptions he really heaps on value assumptions that run contrary to what I would have expected! Odd. 🃏🎭😜
I absolutely love how you describe the books that they should know what they're talking about and do just that: tell you. And I love the deck you showed where you mention Lennon the luminescent oracle, is it!? I'd love to know the name of that one also. That's exactly what I'm looking for; a deck that will really speak to me, help me learn & understand about the tarot & oracle as myself. Tx a million. Love you
Thank you Sorsha, I love your collection videos, I like to know your thoughts about decks! ❤️ Do you know The AlcheMystic Woodcut Tarot? Hugs from Italy! 🙏🥰⭐
@@SaoirseGraves I have it. It's full of... Everything lol. Benebell Wen wrote about it a while ago, it's a very interesting deck. Actually, I think the imagery could attract your curiosity. Cheers from Italy! 😉🇮🇹💜
That was a joy to watch Sorsha, thank you! I think you just put your finger on something that was bothering me about the Witch's Wisdom tarot. I love Denise Barlow's art, just the way she paints briars, hedges can sometimes make me feel homesick for Ireland as you don't see briar's too much in Norway. And certainly not like the gigantic tangles of them we had a the bottom of the fields! But something about Witch's Wisdom throws me off, I don't like the cards that have people on them at all and yet I have zero issue with the Wheel of the Year oracle. Never thought about the fact that it's a collaboration might be the reason it feels a little off kilter! I think I'll try reworking it into an oracle but first I'll have to go through the deck thoroughly and have a good ponder.🤔 I remember when I got the Ceccoli Tarot, my husband was all "those are some seriously creepy little girls" I told him no they are little women who are letting out their inner creepy little girl and it might fantastical or nightmarish or both 😆
I would love to hear more about your thoughts on death positivity. It is something I am struggling with myself. I have the Hush Tarot and am thinking about using it for this work. Loved seeing your collection and hearing your thoughts 😊
I'm gonna have a think about a video on death positivity. It's a request that has come up a few times and I think it'll be useful for me to attempt it. 💜 But for now, if youre interested, there are links to some resources (websites, videos, podcasts etc) in the description box to my "How to Summon me from the Dead" video. No need to watch that video per se! At some point I'll at least do a "starting points" video!
Hey sorsha, this was fun to watch! I really love your medieval aesthetic. Curious to know if you ever considered the medieval scapini tarot? And what did you end up doing with your cosmic slumber tarot?
I tried the Medieval Scapini for a while, even trimmed it. Just too small and hard to see in the end but a seriously interesting & well-thought out deck! 💜 I gave my Cosmic Slumber to my little sister when she visited last year. She has wild dreams & writes beautiful poetry and is *somewhat* tarot literate. The art style was more her thing too (she can handle bright colours better.) 🙂
Ok thanks for the reply, I always love knowing why people pass on certain decks. I've been on the fence with my copy of Cosmic Slumber too, I love vibrant colors but it's somehow aggressively colorful, lol. But I too think about keeping it for my kids one day cause it's so playful and childlike. I love what you did with the Crystal Tarot, I had that one for a minute but then traded it, but it looks so awesome trimmed and aged like your copy is. @@SaoirseGraves
Melusine...yes definitely more please! Green Wheel oracle is also one of my favourites....I live near to Chagford so it's like home to me. Note to self.... must get dreams of Pentagruel....love those salmon advice cards, adorable. Your collection is a treasure as are you 😁😍
Thank you so much, that's very kind! Oooh what a wonderful part of the world... I used to live in (and near) Southampton for a number of years so it was quite the trek! I love the Salmon Advice cards 🥰

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed the authenticity 🙂💜
The smirk at 1:07:09 and the "I said what I said!" has me living! Enjoying spending time with you and your collection today, Sorsha!!
Hahaha I got all flushed too 🤣🤣🤣

Thank you. That's very kind! 😊 It's great that you find value in it!
Ps. Check out, if you are curious, also the Royal Mischief playing cards by Patrick Valenza, it's a very clever deck! ;)
Patrick Valenza's art is so delicious 😅💀💜
@@SaoirseGraves it really is! 💜

That's the correct name! I've linked Lennan's channel in the description - she has info on all her MPC decks listed over there! 🃏💜

I just finished Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell last week. What a happy coincidence. One of the best books I have ever read 💚
I know RIGHT! Soooooo much to chew on but also such potent visuals and storytelling 💚
