Ive never driven 1000hp car nor have i ridden in one. To drive one door to door completely sideways is so god damn impressive. I can look past any and all mistakes... this isnt easy and thats what makes it enjoyable to watch

Right and his chase stopped drifting in turn 2 and just kept driving and then started drifting again they both should be considered incomplete then base off lead runs only! On top of that he did that wiggle to me Adam up in turn 1 because he knows how fast Adam's car is he would have to go so slow he wouldn't be able to. That in my opinion is not good sportsmanship at all and should be dq instantly I have seen inactive chase runs and incomplete for way less then what teg did to adam
@@Yutezu I said he's accumulated 10+ years of seat time not he's been drifting for 10 years. Pay attention... the average drifter does 1 event per month which means 12 drift days per year whereas adam does probably 50-100 drift days per year giving him tons of seat time and none of you guys can tell me otherwise.
Nobody understands how much pressure Adam is under but Adam lol you can hear it in his voice how nervous he is but I bet you could offer other people the same opportunity and they would choke at least he's giving it his all

The nerves are wearing off with each event and you seem to be getting more focused and level headed especially when things go wrong. Shake it off and prepare for what’s next. I’m super excited to see you progress. We all know you 100% have what it takes and that consistency in competition comes with experience in competition! @@theeuros5066 You don't have to imagine. Viewership dropped by 10k once Adam spun out. It was 35k and dropped to ~22k. When your fans contribute to 1/3rd of the viewership of a sport you're fast approaching a legendary status. All you have to do is back it up with competitive success.
if you watch the prospec rounds a lot of the less experienced drivers have no idea how to handle that and spin into the inside clip, there's like a ridge or bump right after the transition. the pro-1 drivers all have a pretty solid handle on it but all 4 tires leaving the ground probably causes a huge oversteer bump, not sure if it's throttle and understeer or left foot braking they're using to even that out but it's definitely experience and skill keeping those drivers from spinning after the jump
From the first BMX days video I saw, that locked in my interest in your videos, to me actually being proud of someone I don't personally know, and the progress in your career in FD. Adam, you're killing it, in so many ways. No loss there, just more gained knowledge to build up yourself, and your adventures in this life. Taguchis car is just much slower than Adams on that bank for whatever reason, would say that caught Adam off guard and can see difference in speed in Adams lead
Not trying to be a fanboi here, but Taguchi's car was noticeably and consistantly slower than the competition. Moreover, I believe, this should be the fourth or fifth time that Adam gets caught off guard behind a slower car. Based on his driving stile, he loves to flow with the driver in front and get in as close as possible. I guess he just got a biiit too close here.

Ik ive never met Adam irl but I’m genuinely proud of him because of how far he’s gotten, he started off making little bmx tutorials to literally competing in formula drift!!!! Keep up the good work Adam your my idol and I wish to be in formula drift one day, thanks for helping me believe that I can do it
Just keep grinding man. I doubt many people could get to where you are in drifting after only what, 4 or 5 years? You got a lot of talent and a fantastic team behind you. When you crash and your first thoughts are "Well I learned something" than you are on the way to greatness in your discipline. Hopefully one day I will be able to travel down to the states and watch you podium!
Agree Taguchi chase look like he straightend also you could tell he was slow for a 1000hp car buy his chase run and adam was struggling to not hit him in his chase.
So sad, but you did good and it is really amazing to see the progress between now and 2019. By the looks I thought that Taguchi pushed the brakes at the point about when you turned into him, also because of the fact that you kept a decent door to door distance from him next to the wall. However, glad that you where positive about it. Looking forward to your next video, as always!

I don’t know if I’m wrong but that guy in the 86 just did some funky stuff at the beginning of that run and I feel like that threw Adam off because Adam destroyed that lead run
Like it or not FD rules are lead car has right of way to choose any form of initiation they like. Whether it's a big flick, low to high, unconventional big brake, etc..

Just to recap on everything. I’ve been watching LZ since he was making PB&J’s pizzas going to college and biking. Now I am watching LZ on TV drifting his Formula drift car. I just had my first kid(Boy) this January 2021.Now me & my lil family have a pro drift driver to follow from the beginning of his career to where ever he ends up or takes it ( we are rooting for you LZ 🤙🏼🤘🏼 ). Plus we got his TH-cam channel to follow as well .
I feel like the other drivers see how aggressive Adam drives and I think they are setting him up to break check him and it's worked a couple times now!
No, the chase driver is responsible for maintaining their position relative to the lead and following their line. If they brake outside of the decel zone then the lead can be at fault but both Atlanta and here LZ has come out the gate too fast and the lead driver has NOT braked outside the decel zone, it’s not aggression it’s lack of seat time that is stopping him. Rad Dan dealt with the same situation of a slow start and poor initiation much better here, he didn’t hit the lead.
I feel like Guchi's chase run should've been incomplete, it looked like he straightened after coming down from the bank onto the middle of the skidpad and also was massively behind. Should've been atleast a OMT in my eyes.

Ik ive never met Adam irl but I’m genuinely proud of him because of how far he’s gotten, he started off making little bmx tutorials to literally competing in formula drift!!!! Keep up the good work Adam your my idol and I wish to be in formula drift one day, thanks for helping me believe that I can do it

Just keep grinding man. I doubt many people could get to where you are in drifting after only what, 4 or 5 years? You got a lot of talent and a fantastic team behind you. When you crash and your first thoughts are "Well I learned something" than you are on the way to greatness in your discipline. Hopefully one day I will be able to travel down to the states and watch you podium!

Taguchi was slow AF and messed up the initiation, also looked like he straightend out almost in the chase on the infield?
Agree Taguchi chase look like he straightend also you could tell he was slow for a 1000hp car buy his chase run and adam was struggling to not hit him in his chase.
Yeah taguchis chase was a bit sloppy but its the best call to drive safely when the lead driver had a bad chase run

Taguchi was playing it safe. No point going door to door when the win is basically secured so long as you don't spin.

By the looks I thought that Taguchi pushed the brakes at the point about when you turned into him, also because of the fact that you kept a decent door to door distance from him next to the wall. Like it or not FD rules are lead car has right of way to choose any form of initiation they like. Whether it's a big flick, low to high, unconventional big brake, etc..

Just to recap on everything. I’ve been watching LZ since he was making PB&J’s pizzas going to college and biking. Now I am watching LZ on TV drifting his Formula drift car. I just had my first kid(Boy) this January 2021.Now me & my lil family have a pro drift driver to follow from the beginning of his career to where ever he ends up or takes it ( we are rooting for you LZ 🤙🏼🤘🏼 ). Plus we got his TH-cam channel to follow as well .
I feel like the other drivers see how aggressive Adam drives and I think they are setting him up to break check him and it's worked a couple times now!

No, the chase driver is responsible for maintaining their position relative to the lead and following their line. If they brake outside of the decel zone then the lead can be at fault but both Atlanta and here LZ has come out the gate too fast and the lead driver has NOT braked outside the decel zone, it’s not aggression it’s lack of seat time that is stopping him. Rad Dan dealt with the same situation of a slow start and poor initiation much better here, he didn’t hit the lead.
