'Mammootty noted that he would be playing an elderly character' - Blessy | Mammootty | Mohanlal

In an interview with TNIE Kerala, director Blessy says that he at first, wanted to do the film 'Pranayam' with Mammootty in the leading role. Blessy says even though Mammootty expressed interest in playing the role of an elderly character, he later changed his mind and suggested someone else do the role. The director says that that is how Mohanlal came into the picture.

Rizza Bava did an excellent job delivering the dialogues. If you turned off visuals it still sounds very professional. His acting contributed very little the success of the movie.
