Some interesting details: A real buddha has a real aura on their back (think of the holy aura of an angel). Yellowbrow doesn't have such and he used a rope to carry the wooden wheel on his back. Game Science here tries to show that Yellowbrow is the ultimate hypocrite - he trashes Buddha's mantra but he still tries to mimic a real buddha. Also at the last phase of the battle Yellowbrow can activate super armor and turn himself golden. But it is actually just golden paint and that's why if Wukong walks into the golden circle he also gets the golden paint. Game Science went so far to depict Yellowbrow as a clown!
I dunno man, he doesn't feel like a clown to me. Man's got real power behind his swings, and has been reincarnated multiple times. He's a very complex character in that he is a hypocrite, but also shows divine power of his own... if his words were false, wouldn't they have taken away this power from him long ago? That's the scary facet of Yellowbrow; he's a huge asshole, but his logic speaks truth, we just don't want to admit that to ourselves. That's why we hate Yellowbrow; even those who speak evil can be placed on a pedestal.
I think what Jinchanzi said by the seaside expressed a different meaning. A person hesitates at the intersection, you can guess whether they can turn right or left, but you cannot push that person in a certain direction to prove your guess. yellowbrow pushed in both the topic and specific action. 1.When you test the strength of a glass cup, you don't pay any attention to its advantages as a container, and even an iron cup is bound to break after testing. 2.Please pay attention to the collar of the first person to pick up the knife. It can be confirmed that he was pushed forward by an invisible force. His mental state may be the result of manipulation.
You’re right. What does matter is why bother testing the strength of the glass cup if you want to break it anyway. But if you don’t break it, you won’t be able to test its limits. But the salvation of the turtle is just a method he used in order to win the bet, with that being said he was intended to break the glass-cup right at the beginning. Moreover, human is complex and cannot be put in such context whatsoever. If you already wanted to break it, then no matter how strong it could stand still, it would still be broken anyway. This is why Jichanzu told Yellowbrow that it was all pointless for him to prove such a point.
In fact, this involves China's traditional thought that human nature is good, or inherent vice. Huang Mei thinks that human nature is evil, and his means of proof is also wrong. He starts from the results and creates conditions for people to become greedy. The golden cicada thinks that human nature is good. Of course, there is another thought in China that children are born as white paper, and there is no distinction between good and evil. The proponents of these three ideas also have a teacher-student relationship.
This kind of proof is meaningless. We cannot regard a small number of people as models for all mankind, not to mention that the villagers becoming greedy is only the result(Yellow brow only proves that the villagers have become greedy under his guidance,He didn't prove that the villagers were greedy from the beginning.), not the cause. Yellow brow regards the result as the cause. If believe that yellow brow is right, then Fell into his logic trap

Until Wukong to meet YellowBrow's master - the True Buddhist of the Future, they planned to trap YellowBrow. Wukong tried to fight this boss one more time before running away and turning into a watermelon, YellowBrow got tired of the fight and wanted to eat watermelon, his master turned into a farmer and trapped him to eat the watermelon that Wukong disguised, Wukong attacked YellowBrow in the stomach and made YellowBrow surrender
the spell binder makes this fight way easier, make sure to hit him with a heavy attack of at least 2 focus points when he's in golden form and it will instantly bring him back to normal/stagger him.
Trust me. It's more epic in the novel Yellowbrow is the first boss that utterly defeats wukong and almost kills him . He traps him in the golden cymbals which can turn anyone into blood and puss in 3 days. This guy is the easiest final boss. Take the hint, use the spell binder, don't kill any monk during the transformation sequence. BTW my personal hardest final boss is the Yasha King aka Red Boy second form.
Weird, seems different player has different capability when fighting against bosses. I only died from red boy twice, and defeated the Yesha king in my first attempt. But I played the final phase of yellowbrow for several times.
Tbh? I liked it, spammed his gold form with 3 tier charged heavies. If you use spells when you clear it off him he turns back golden. So just keep wailing on him. The little circle with him launching blue orbs at you? Hold the spinning block. Don’t use decoys, he’ll turn them against you. At the beginning where you run in and he teleports in, you can get a free triple charged heavy to stagger. Use ripostes when he’s going for melee swings, not stone parry. When he’s golden and does the massive lightening AOE attack he goes back to being regular. I actually enjoyed him a great deal, took me around 5 or 6 tries.
Seeing a four year old child holding a gold brick in the bustling city, everyone is a devil Standing beside Maitreya Buddha, the protector Vajra, all the demons are saints and sages yellowbrow just prove a result, he didn't see the cause

@@stardrift9465 the animated scene is a flashback, the kid monk is Maitreya/Budai aka the Laughing Buddha, the floating fish I think is the pet goldfish (yes I'm serious that's what it is called) of Guanyin a high ranking boddhisvata who is pretty much the boss of the pilgrims and is their main contact if they need help
@@stardrift9465 the turtle (Yellowbrow aka the boss shown in the video) and the monk he was talking to (Sanzang aka Sun Wukong's master) are capable of reincarnating themselves, the reason the turtle stayed like that is to wait for Sanzang to meet him so that he could tell Sanzang that he won the bet (his fucked up body is the proof that he won)
If you watch carefully the last bit, the elephant youkai is a Buddha who disguised like that deliberately to prove to his friend Jinchanzi that human is just like that. They were having a bet on it. It’s a human behavior experiment. P.s. both of them are Buddha’s disciples and Jinchanzi was the name Xuanzang (aka Wukong’s master) uses before he came to the mortal world as a monk.
A tip for the boss is to just spam him with attacks when he’s normal and use heavies. When he turns gold you can use jump attack heavies and cloud step
The guy actually intentionally transformed himself into a magic turtle that bleed gems because he wanted to prove to the other guy that humans are greedy.
But he caused it purposefully, he turned a village of peoples lives into a story to make a proof. If you want to prove the greed of humanity, have it be between humanity and humanity alone.

Did Bajie really smacked Maitreya in the back of the head?💀
fantastic boss. poses not just a mechanical challenge but a philosophical one, too. china murdered it
the spell binder makes this fight way easier, make sure to hit him with a heavy attack of at least 2 focus points when he's in golden form and it will instantly bring him back to normal/stagger him.
Came for the gameplay
Stayed for the story

the translation “kneel before the future”missed a dub in chinese version, the dub means "you see the future, why still not yeild"
A good trade off coz too many syllables to dub a short Chinese sentence.
One of the best boss fights in this game❤.
Cold knowledge, those magnificent reliefs at the beginning are real in reality, in Shanxi Province, China
probably one of the coolest boss fights of all time in my opinion
Trust me. It's more epic in the novel
Yellowbrow is the first boss that utterly defeats wukong and almost kills him . He traps him in the golden cymbals which can turn anyone into blood and puss in 3 days.
He captures all the 28 constellation generals in his sack .😢
Fun fact
Yellowbrow was actually a boy in the novel who was the servant of Maitreya Buddha (the kid buddha) . He aged into a man by leaving heavens after stealing the sack and the mace .
Yellowbrow was the first boss in the original novel to utterly defeat wukong and trap all generals from the celestial palace
It was maitreya Buddha who defeated him using logic
Moral of the story : don't mess with Buddha
thank you this was so helpful❤❤❤
This guy is the easiest final boss. Take the hint, use the spell binder, don't kill any monk during the transformation sequence.
BTW my personal hardest final boss is the Yasha King aka Red Boy second form.
Weird, seems different player has different capability when fighting against bosses. I only died from red boy twice, and defeated the Yesha king in my first attempt. But I played the final phase of yellowbrow for several times.
@@chenmike1178 Different mindset, different tactics, different reflex... many reasons.
The most epic battle, It was like if I was on drugs or something! 😂

This guy is the definition of being gluttonous but not with food but with your ego and your ideology.
Seeing a four year old child holding a gold brick in the bustling city, everyone is a devil
Standing beside Maitreya Buddha, the protector Vajra, all the demons are saints and sages
yellowbrow just prove a result, he didn't see the cause
Yellowbrow: My name is Aatro- I mean Ramattr- I mean....Yellowbrow!
But gosh he is creepy. He just starts losing and stuffs you into a burlap sack and kidnaps you, and then looks down at you with his greasy face all creepy like.
Is that the Yellowbrow looks like Pig-Nose Turtle Demon?
yes
That fatass trionyx is his avatar, same person
"My sack" is not a joke.
The chinese name of the sack is "人种袋" witch literal translation is "human seed sack".
It's not even a metaphor.
that is why his another weapon is a big stick

What gourd setup are you using? I noticed your hp kept filling even after taking damage. Is it the horse one with the brew that also adds hp recovery over time?
That one line goes HARD!!! yall know what I’m talkin bout too.
I wish there was a shrine nearby the final fight. Immobilize feels rather useless against yellowbrow unless timed perfectly. Finally beat him but took many tries.
idk if this should happen but for me he keeps going to the gold form( immune) it is very slow and time consuming just listening to him killing me with dialogue … feels like i’m being tortured by bordem.. not a good boss design
try heavy attack

so after defeating him, he falls into the ice and later became this turtle creature?? and the little kid monk reincarnate became Tang Sanzang?? and what is that fish floating?
@@stardrift9465 the animated scene is a flashback, the kid monk is Maitreya/Budai aka the Laughing Buddha, the floating fish I think is the pet goldfish (yes I'm serious that's what it is called) of Guanyin a high ranking boddhisvata who is pretty much the boss of the pilgrims and is their main contact if they need help
@@shadow7179 but the turtle look f** up by human, it dint die? is just a manifestion or something?
@@stardrift9465 the turtle (Yellowbrow aka the boss shown in the video) and the monk he was talking to (Sanzang aka Sun Wukong's master) are capable of reincarnating themselves, the reason the turtle stayed like that is to wait for Sanzang to meet him so that he could tell Sanzang that he won the bet (his fucked up body is the proof that he won)
Mine keep staying in gold form and I cant deal any damage
kinda sad to that elephant youkai wanted to be worship but he underestimated human greedyness
I don’t think that’s an elephant, it’s more likely a turtle, a soft shelled turtle

A tip for the boss is to just spam him with attacks when he’s normal and use heavies. When he turns gold you can use jump attack heavies and cloud step

Yellowbrow doing everything opposite of Buddha teaching. Is he some kind of anti-christ in Chinese mythology? Or there's someone worse than him.
Nah, he's was a disciple of the Maitreya Buddha (The kid at the end) in a past life or something like that.
Greed is a fucked up thing, dude at the end didn’t deserve that
funny thing is that he was alright with it as long as he "won" over the monk he was talking to (the monk is Sanzang i think)
The guy actually intentionally transformed himself into a magic turtle that bleed gems because he wanted to prove to the other guy that humans are greedy.
@@fbiuzz yeah I know that but damn it’s still kinda fucked
He wanted a self fulfilling prophecy and in doing so, doomed the village
But he caused it purposefully, he turned a village of peoples lives into a story to make a proof. If you want to prove the greed of humanity, have it be between humanity and humanity alone.
