My question is, will I be able to juggle between my research and job interviews? I am hoping we can, as the placement season starts in the third semester. One more thing, should I use the summer break like you did, for literature review or should I do an internship? Your inputs will help, bhaiya. PS : Anyone Reading this in the future , if you are planning to do a Mtech or a PhD in CS this channel is a gold mine.
Juggle between research and job interview u can manage. What i did was i prepared for job few weeks before the placement. Job was my second priority and was not aiming for high package jobs. Hence i just prepared for few weeks and managed to get one within a week. I personally think summer break is great time to start ur project and research if ur future plan is research. Summer internship is only helpful if u r only goal is to do job.
Thanks for this detailed info about research publications. You actually gave an honest description for the whole process. For the whole process it takes an average of 1 yr?
Thanks, yes for your first paper it will take some time to understand. It's very difficult initially as your guide and collaborators are experts in research and you are just starting. So it will take time. And for me I had course work, placement going on parallel. So it's very difficult.

For System (Architecture/Compiler/OS), IISc is one of the best in India for high quality research. Go for it if you get it. Soon I will make a video on how to prepare for Mtech (Res), Stay connected.

Yes its very good department,mostly work on applied problem. Its almost equivalent to CSA. I would suggest if you get it go for it.
