The rhythm Adam is beating reminds me of a heartbeat. That simple percussion allows him to sing. All five of them are singing.

Home Free has the wonderful ability of allowing the listener to really hear the lyrics and feel the emotion of the song, at the same time as they are being transported by the beautiful music brought out in the harmonies and beatboxing. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this group is heaven sent. Another one that will get you in the gut is Brothers In Arms. Thanks for a great reaction!

I love Home Free's version of this beautiful song. This is in my top 5 songs by them. They really brought out the emotion of it. Tim's lead is amazing with his deep bass. Also love Rob & Chance's solos plus the great harmonies. And Adam is tasteful in making the simple sound of pounding his chest & thigh. I believe we can change our course in life. We don't have to make the same mistakes as our parents. We can choose to rise above it.

A little credit for the original composer-performer John Mayer.
And glad you are doing better.

I love how Home Free keeps a lot of their video environments simple--allows the focus to be on their incredible acapella vocals.
Their 4-part harmony is already peerless, as far as I'm concerned, but their 5-part harmony is even more impactful❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️

Yes, it’s beautiful and one of my favorites. I don’t know where they filmed this one but you’re right, they always have good locations. It’s a cover of John Mayer’s song. Such good lyrics. Good one TYMR!

There are 3 Adam’s in the group now so it’s Adam Rupp ( beatboxer) he’s a co founder of the group and only original member so it’s only right he keeps his name. After his brother Chris Rupp other co founder left and Adam Chance took his place he’s just been called Chance. Now after Austin left Adam Bastien has taken Austin’s place is just being called Bastien less confusion that way

I’m really enjoying your reactions, Thanks for giving Home Free a chance to impress you. A song they have done that I think will really blow your mind is Brothers In arms. Their harmonies are out of this world, and it highlights Tim and Chance. Thanks for your reactions.

Great reaction. One of the things you touched on was how deep this song goes. It's asking the question the question of how much of your life are you actually in control of and how much is already determined by your family and the blood in your veins, the old nature versus nurture question. Thank you for reacting to this.

Tim and Chance Rob did a beautiful job on this song. The harmonies are beautiful. In The Blood my opinion is always In The Blood. The water will not wash it away. Again that is my opinion. Thank you for playing this song and your reactions on this song. This song is sad and deep.

The water feature appears to be a spillway near a dam. Sometimes they're found where a stream has been dammed to form a lake.
This wasn't necessarily near the house seen in the video. There could have been two sites used.
BTW, this is one of my most favorite by HF, even though it left me in tears - for days.

Try the Stargazer Trilogy. All written by Austin. First one before he met his wife and the next two about her. It’s a beautiful love letter set to music. The videos are amazing!!!❤

5:00 ish. It isn't bad to let yourself get lost in a song. Sometimes that is a response in itself.

Some reaction youtubers I've seen seem to get away with it, albeit a little pause at the beginning or end.

Home Free doesn't do re-makes, they do up-grades. I actually prefer their rendition to John Mayer's original. As always, the singing & harmonies are terrific & Adam's beatboxing is perfect. A heartbeat exemplifies the sentiment of the song. The song goes back to the basic question of nature or nurture. Another one that you might like is "What We Ain't Got" - it's deeply moving as well.

Is anyone gonna like make a comment about the actual REACTION or are HF stans just gonna completely ignore Luke’s reaction and keep commenting like this is a HF video and not a TYMR video? Like I’m not claiming to be able to read minds or anything but I bet it’s quite discouraging for him to make these reactions, put a lot of effort into them and be so gracious and humble towards your favourite musical group, and you can’t even have the common decency or courtesy to end your gushing “ohh I love home free” comments with even “great reaction Luke!” Literally 3 words. If I were him I wouldn’t be doing anymore until you actually acknowledged me for once! 😑

@@JJLUFC438 usually I don’t encourage ANY kind of conflict or cross talk amongst my community’s members, but in this particular instance I have no choice but to concede in agreement. At least to the part where you mentioned about me feeling discouraged. It does make me feel ignored and under-appreciated. I just didn’t want to say that it did publicly.
