How can you NOT be in the mood for the king crab!? Best thing I ate the whole trip. My silly son (25 year old) did this cruise with me and he not only dislikes crab, they freak him out. Calls them giant sea spiders lol He patiently sat with me while I ate a crab leg nearly the size of my arm and didn't even complain to much when I accidentally splashed him right between the eyes when breaking it open :D Soooooo good. Also learned: Tanner crab is pretty much exactly like snow crab. To me at least.
@@parodeejay Holy cow!!!! I was just there two weeks prior and it was about $60. Still too expensive but I was determined. But $85...wow. Yeah, I might have thought twice on that too. I know there has been a shortage. Hopefully next year it'll settle down.
Juneau is my home town! I grew up on the street just above downtown, watching the old school cruise ships back in the 80’s when they only had a few decks.
Thank you guys for doing the Duck Fart shots on camera. I’ve noticed lately that people seem fearful of showing alcohol on camera, and I just feel that it’s such a big part of cruise culture for a lot of people. It’s not 1929, guys, consumption of alcoholic beverages doesn’t have to be a big secret anymore. Also, the term “booze cruise” exists because prohibition wasn’t legally enforceable in international waters. Just like how people go on gambling cruises in states where gaming is illegal. Anyway, cheers, friends!
I think it’s more because viewers are weird about that kind of stuff. I do feel like I was taking a shot along with you guys, so I enjoyed the Red Dog Saloon bit. I think most of us are just here for positive vibes, which y’all definitely deliver :)
Thank you for taking us on a tour of various towns in Alaska that your cruise takes you. We are headed for our FIRST cruise ever to Alaska, September 2022. Your trip in September helped me with what the weather could be like. We start in Seward and head down to Vancouver. Cant wait. Thanks again!
And...Didn't catch the name of the man and woman musical duo..but WOW they were good! The ones you were looking down on in the atrium after Deal or No Deal. They were at the Alchemy a lot and they were just fantastic.
We went on the sea walk last week, just for the Patsy Ann statue. Tracy's was out of crab by the time we got there, I think we'll have the salmon bake if we do Alaska again.
I’ve missed you guys! Getting my cruising fix through you two until we get to go again. Also, I LOVE Dee’s sweater that she wore to dinner. Remember where you got it Dee?
I’m really enjoying all your adventures especially because in the next day or 2 I have to cancel our January Mardi Gras cruise…..paying an extra $450 Canadian to get tested after our cruise to fly back to Canada is just too much, we may book with Royal or Princess who will test us on their ship at their expense.
Careful! Seagulls can be mean. One swooped down and hit my son in his head at Disney so he dropped his burger and the seagull quickly confiscated the burger. Thx for a great video
The Miracle is my favorite ship, by far❤ This is a great video.
lol that coffee was called Three Peckered Billy Goat.

Apparently the king crab was $85 per pound the day we were in port. Lots of folks gave it a pass, sadly!! :P

You had great weather! Wow. And there's no such thing such as eating too much salmon or seafood! 😉

I thought that the capital of Jamaica was ....."J".
We missed going to the saloon. So I’m glad you got a chance to show us. Next time I’m sure to stop and see if I can do the shot like you guys did.

Thank you for another fun (and informative) video!
You both have the best time x
Being from the south I was so surprised at how good their bbq nachos were. And my wife got the duck fart also lol.

Great video , thank you.
That looked like such a relaxing evening!💕

Dee can snorkel in Ketchikan, I saw it on Griff and Alisa. I’m going to Alaska next year and am seriously considering this excursion
Right!? That was soooo cool!
Awesome
Wait...am I caught up?!!! Yayyy!!!
Dee. Did you see that Grif and Alyssa went snorkeling in Alaska.
In Ketchikan, yep! We’ve thought about that, but haven’t gone for it yet, hah… :P

Hey Jay. Just saying Great Camera Work! Keep it rolling!!!
Oh nice, the Wilderness Adventure is the unCruise vessel.
I’ve missed you guys! Getting my cruising fix through you two until we get to go again. Also, I LOVE Dee’s sweater that she wore to dinner. Remember where you got it Dee?
It is from Old Navy from a year ago.
Did you make it to Hoonah? That's where I live
We did indeed!! :D

Please enjoy and I'll wait for your Day in Skagway.

How were the bugs in Alaska
See you tomorrow, God willing!
I have started to see "predictions" on end of month CDC sailing restrictions being lifted/extended.....do yall have any thoughts?
Nah, we’ve stopped guessing. We’ll just go with the flow for now!! :P
Aren't most of those shops owned by the cruise lines?
The ones at the pier are, or if not, I’m sure they get a big cut.
You are going to be flooded with water!
Looks like you got tricked into exercising again today!

The content was great except when he was talking…
This comment was great except when I was reading… :P
