  • How did the trial for a payroll robbery gone wrong become the "case of the century”? Immigrants Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti were famously convicted and executed for the crime, but questions persist, even a hundred years later. Were the anarchists given a fair trial? Or did a climate of fear make these immigrants with radical politics lead to a decision based on prejudice? Dr. Stephen Kinney, Museum Director of the Commonwealth Museum, discusses the case and why it remains a critical piece of our history.

My family grew up on Cherry St. where Vanzetti lived. I would like to add a little info to the story. How do I do that?

It's Ben Shahn, not Brian Shahn.

I liked it. Will those two get exonerated, or decision reverse due to unfair trial?

Usa governments never apoligised or recognized innocence for any innocent person who was killed with death penalty ( there are many of them, Sacco and Vanzetti were not the only ones)

Hi. I am 84 and my mother was certain of their innocence. The Russians launched two aircraft carriers named after them
