Awesome video, thank you. A question: Do you know the distance (range) of bluetooth paired with the phone? Can I snap shots from 30-50 ft?

Hi awesome video! Do you think you could make a video on your video settings and how you shoot video with this camera? I use the flat video profile, 1080p 25/50 fps low ISO, and olympus 12-40mm + 17mm f1.8 + 45mm f1.8 when shooting video. All the video looks fine on screen but after importing it into the computer it looks super low quality. Do you know why this is?

+kumoma Hi There. There are different video compression on the camera, you might be recording on the lowest one. Easy way to tell is play around with the different settings and see how many min are left on the recording time. Go for the setting that leaves the least amount of minutes for recording time, that will be the best quality setting. Also, it might be your editing software. For example, I use premiere pro and in there you can set the preview quality to 1/4 or 1/8 of the original quality so you may have it set to that. In that case, the video is fine it's just displaying it in a lower quality.

Very good review. Olympus has indicated that the camera can reach 40 Mpx at slow shutter speed. I wish you mentioned what is the highest shutter speed one can use to get to the highest resolution of 40 Mpx. Thanks for sharing.

The can get to 40megapixel only in still images. It moves the sensor slightly and takes several images that it then overlays to a final. It works best on a tripod. I haven't been able to get 40Mp without tripod. Definitely can't with video as far as I can tell.

Has there been a release date and specs for mark 3? I haven't see anything. If this one goes down in price before Mark 3 comes out and of course depending on what Mark 3 has, is it 4k, 120fps in 1080,all that. Then I might be worth getting but like I said it all depends on the specs and price of Mark 3.

Does the LCD screen completely rotate all the way around so you can film yourself while being able to see yourself on the lcd screen?

      yup it does

Sure does. I call this selfie mode. Remember to look at the lens and not the screen though or it will look like you are talking past the video. We viewers can tell when someone isn't looking down the barrel of the lens.

+Aditya Wirawan Hi there. For images you can get about 300 on one battery and for video you should be able to get about an hr of shooting.

obviously with a short enough shutter time your images shot from a moving train are going to be sharp ... with any camera...
