so the cart data is saved in some image noise? i thought it was saved after the image ends. it's different than i expected, but it means that good pico-8 cartridges won't be detected as viruses
The first two lines of code are displayed in the cartridge. You can put a comment in there with the title of the cart and your name and it will export into the cart image

I have a question: since I have developed a feature that requires the use of persistent data (using cartdata, dset, and dget), will it work once published on Laxeloffle website? I checked out your Breakout Hero game and it always displays an empty high score list.. does it mean that cartriges on the website can't store persistent data? Thank you for your help :)
Pico-8 should save persistent data in the browser version as well. If it's not doing that for you this may be due to some kind of browser configuration on your side.

Splore is not a file. It is a command you type in the command line
