Anthony Richardson HAS BEEN AWFUL!!! (AND IT'S NOT HIS FAULT)

- Anthony Richardson has 6 turnovers only 3 weeks into the NFL season. Richardson, who was picked 4th overall by the Colts, was deemed a project QB that was years away from being able to start in the NFL, and so far, that's exactly what he has looked like. Starting a raw, incomplete project QB and immediately thrusting him into the starting position is a recipe for complete failure in the NFL, and more times than not ends up with said project QB being a bust because of simple mismanagement. @MisterTruth I like the guy but why did the colts take him at number 4 I think most scouts had him late 1 or some where in the second
Andddd he already got injured and is gonna miss the season again
Throw another $800 MILLION/year at him. Colts will finish 2 and 14.

How many generational qbs exist in this generation
People really have just decided words mean nothing lol
To be fair he got to sit all last year and learn. He should have improved somehow. He looks worse. Yes he has speed yes he has a strong arm. But his accuracy and decision making is all over the place and those are the most important traits imo. Brady didn’t have a speed or the strongest arm but he had accuracy and qb instincts in abundance. I think those traits are overlooked as if they can be taught and I’m not so sure it’s that easy
Ofc Brady has those attributes he had no choice to have them. Most athletic qbs will never have those traits because they never had to rely on them to succeed. Richardson was supposed to be similar to Cam Newton but he is too frail and cant even be a good scrambling qb.
@@doctad11phe did have a choice he could have not had those traits and get a day job. He didn’t develop those traits because ‘he had no choice’ he developed those traits because he wanted to win. Brady was all about winning.
@@JM-md4ri Ofc he did im not knocking his hard work. But he could never develop athletic traits or a big arm. Those traits you mentioned are the only traits hencould develop given his abilities. If Brady was born athletic he would be a worse qb.
@@doctad11p I can agree with that. I think athleticism is overrated. We've never seen a QB that is highly athletic win a championship, not Cam not Vick not Lamar. Hybrid QBs like Mahomes and Russell Wilson have atheticism that compliments their passing, its not the main part of their game. Championship football is still dominated by QBs that are consistent passers. The whole narrative around AR is that he has the athleticism, and if he can improve at passing he'd be a great QB. I dont think improving at passing is that easy. I think some guys have it and some guys dont. And from what we've all seen from AR he just doesn't have it. He seems like a highlight guy, not a championship guy. And I hate to write off a QB this early into their career, but if he won't ever lead your team to a championship then he's not the guy.
I thought Tom Brady had one of the stronger arms in.the league. He never under threw Randy Moss. And his arm lasted him like 6 more years than Peyton Manning.
Hell yes to the Streets of Rage 2 music!
What lvl
bro he's overthrowing guys by 10 yards on basic short passes. how is it not his fault.
uhhh development might be a start.
@@rintin_ten88he’s his own person, good lord it’s embarrassing you think he’s a machine that’s being powered by others.
It starts with him, he doesn’t have it.
@@rintin_ten88 this aint the minor leagues. Maybe he should have stayed in college.
@@rintin_ten88stop making excuses for him being complete fuckin trash 😂
Richardson was never developed in College and likely given stupid advice and left to early. 2 faults, one his, one not. Its a matter of maturity at the position. He has been deprived of that to this point. Sit, learn or be a below average QB in the NFL. Good video Mister Truth.
This guy is off the juice or something relax hes still one of the youngest qbs starting colts got a young team not every qp starts off great chill its 4 games in , ur all over the place with what ur saying
Tell that to Josh Rosen lol dude only got 1 year before Cardinals traded him😂
Richardson said he really thought he was going to drafted no. 1 LOL
Ballard has been god awful as a GM. He has no idea what he's doing taking the least inexperienced guy high in draft and saying this is our starter no matter what. It's a joke. Ballard had failed in FA with QB and never new how to spend draft capital to develope one. So he found himself in a terrible situation where he felt he had to draft one at pick 4 in 2023. So frustrating to see all these terrible decisions by GM compounded year after year
TONY RICH TONY RICH TONY RICH TONY RICH TONY RICH TONY RICH TONY RICH TONY RICH TONY RICH TONY RICH TONY RICH TONY RICH. He no gooda. YET!!
Nobody replicating Green Bay because they're all busy trying to replicate the Chargers by going from Brees to River to Herbert without missing a beat.
How many super bowls have they won with those 3?
@@rintin_ten88 Nobody cares how many Super Bowls the Chargers won, because as long as you have a QB there’s a chance. Without one there’s zero chance.
So you tried to mention the chargers when they’ve literally went from Favre to Arod to Love and have won Rings when the Chargers haven’t? RIIIIGHHHHTTT 😂
@@smercxz Teams don’t draft a QB to win rings. If you do you’re setting him up to be a bust. Teams draft QBs to COMPETE or replace vets, not win superbowls, that’s achieved via luck and circumstances. If you’re telling me that the Patriots drafted Drake Maye to go the Superbowl I’m gonna laugh my ass off. The last team to attempt something like this was the Niners reaching to get Trey Lance. We all know how that turned out.
@@Zetler I’m telling you YOURE not gonna tell me the Chargers are the better example than the packers you fuckin goof 😂
Let’s be real here. Ballard drafted AR so he could keep his job a little longer than he should’ve been allowed to. Irsay wanted to throw AR to the fire like this because he is fried and thinks he deserves the credit for lucking out on drafting the 2 best QB prospects to ever come out in Manning and Luck and pretty much held them back from being even better. AR is not a natural thrower. He just goes out and throws as hard as he can. They have everything you could want around him.
The comp for A Richardson has always been Tebow. I watched every Tebow game with the Broncos. His accuracy, pre snap recognition, and ability to throw with anticipation are all similar to Tebow. Except Tebow was surprisingly was a better scrambler. Tebow was also a much much much better college QB.
I like when you do your Sam Kinison.
okay, CJ Stroud. trial by fire. Jayden Daniels. exceptional rookie quarter backs the last 2 years, consecutively. and Anthony Richardson is the better athlete. i think you're right, they could help Anthony Richardson with the call sheet. but 2 bad games isn't enough for me to think he can't take the colts over .500
Not really andrew luck. But look at what we had to deal with rivers, ryan, jacoby, wetnz all were top players but we're all awful. But I do agree because he missing too many too many EASY ASS THROWS
It’s not his fault… but Daniel Jones coming off two major injuries can’t get a break……..
He’s not very good.. his inability to pass is someone else’s fault ? Will most likely end up injured again trying to run around too much like rg3
Yes it looks is his fault let’s stop making excuses already he over throws his wide open receivers it’s annoying
AR hype has been all physical attributes. Ppl he’s NEVER put together a resume that said he can be a competent QB at ANY level.
Can’t make reads, not accurate, 244 LBs for what NOT durable. What exactly does AR do well as a QB? All I’ve seen is missed lay ups, AD Mitchell should be killing it but has this fuckin bum at QB
Ironically enough Brady had an interview during the offseason that actually explained why so many young QBs aren’t NFL ready yet. There’s a distinct lack of development in college now too.
Peyton threw close to 30 picks if not more his first year think about that
He was a project coming out of college.
I like the streets of rage background music 🎶
How will he do against the Steelers?
Lol you cant handle the truth.
I'm a Richardson fan an i agree 1000% I'm actually a carolina fan and dammit your bryce take is spot on . Richardson needs to sit and watch joe could have beaten green bay , same shit about to happen in indy that happened in carolina, the players are going to revolut for flacco!
Richardson needs to work on mechanics. He fixes that he will be a beast.
Its never their fault if youre black
Don’t bring race into it. It’s not his fault because he’s a young project QB with only 7 career games of experience under his belt, ofcourse he’s not great yet, it was known when he was Drafted that he needed development 😂 But he’s shown plenty of flashes and has one of the highest ceilings in the league. He just needs time, let him learn
He has the size and elite arm strength, but his lack of football iq and bad accuracy is holding him back from being a good qb.
This guys obsession with sitting QBs is fcking stupid .
I know right, it's like buying a Lambo and let it sit in a garage for a year or 2. it's ride or die time
oh damn, AR just got injured...let draft coach Prime kid next year then we set for the next decade at QB
It blows my mind that all of these NFL teams fail to learn from the lesson that Green Bay has been teaching for 30 years about how to handle a quarterback Green Bay has had what 30 years of top QB play when will they learn?
What I want my Carolina Panthers to do is trade Bryce young because I want gone keep Andy Dalton and then have whatever Young quarterback we think might be our franchise sit behind him and then wait until Andy Dalton chooses to retire if Andy Dalton keeps playing good and takes us somewhere I would say he deserves an extension and if he wants to retire as a panther I would welcome it.
A lot of panther fans are saying we should get what we can for young and then have plumer sit behind Andy Dalton learn from him and then when plumer is ready put him in as the starter, now I don't know if Jack plummer is the guy but I do think we should get what we can out of Andy Dalton while we have him.
Love that Streets of Rage 2 music in the back !!!!! LoL
At least Richardson has shown way more promise than bryce lol. I definitely agree with you. I'm hoping the panthers go to packers way. Give andy dalton a 3 year deal worth 70-90 mil with low guarantees and draft a good qb when they fall in our range naturally. If they don't get another veteran for a mid level qb contract. It's way better than 50+ million for a guy like Lawrence lol. The titans and panthers rosters are good enough to win 6-9 games under a pilot like dalton or Joe no fan base want to fail on purpose to gamble and end up losing even more.
As a panthers fan I would lose my shit if we gave Dalton 90 mil 💀
yea hes not like bryce young where he brings nothing to the able in terms of raw qb traits
What does he bring lol? A big arm and scrambling ability which hes not good at because he gets injured as soon as hes touched. Getting drafted 4th overall is insanity. When a guy like Joe Milton gets drafted in the 6th rd and brings the same traits to the table as Richardson.
He will learn.
He will learn how to hold a clip board and clap like a 🦭
@@andrewmann4067 really . How do you learn on the job. He has the it factor.
AR isn’t the problem.. its the I want it now mentality some have… ive seen Indy improve weekly. Opportunity to make a statement this week. But say whatever makes you feel better.. ForTheShoe
Have they improved? Did you watch the game vs Chicago? They suck and AR is playing worse week by week. Take this L and have a nice day
@@andrewmann4067 and you can say that if it makes you feel better 😘
No team bothers to do it because all of these coaches are under pressure to win now. also ticket sales. People would rather watch the highs and lows of richardson than watch flacco
Nah we wanna win. AR is trash
@@andrewmann4067He’s only played 7 career games and he’s shown plenty of flashes, he just needs time to develop like any QB. Plus he came into the league as a project QB and he’s playing like so. Dude still has one of the highest ceiling’s in the league, y’all are too impatient 😂
You are absolutely right. These rookie qb’s need to watch and learn
Then how come we didn't say this for Caleb Williams and Bryce Young then
@@Kings0424 Money
@@Kings0424They were both #1 picks, Williams is regarded as a generational talent and Young was considered the most “pro ready” Qb for his high IQ and production at Alabama. Usually the #1 pick QBs are thrown to the wolves and are expected to perform right away unlike QBs drafted after them.

He is no brock Purdy, thats for sure. Richardson is likely to get injured before week 12 the way he plays. He can't be a long term starter the reckless way he plays.
I’m a gator fan and I couldn’t believe he got drafted! He must have some mob connections
As a prospect he’s literally Josh Allen 2.0, all the the physical tools to be elite but needed a lot of development. They started Allen straight away too, only the Bills got lucky Allen figured it out by year 3. The colts are trying the same tactic with AR15.
