Hi Ms. Rica, get well soon. I am in my forties now and I am trying to do resistance and strength training. I stop doing too much cardio because it gives me pain here in there. I listen to what my body is telling me now unlike before go ng go kahit hindi na kaya.
Good for you! Me naman my journey is knowing my body well and understanding pain and injuries. I reakised that we give up when we don’t know what we are dealing with and when we get smarter, we actually can overcome. So many young people also get injured hahaha. Akala lang natin mga 40s lang.
hi carla, ive got hand fracture injury last may which is until now i am in the middle of healing, my doctor didnt allowed me to go to work and it is useless because it is my right hand, now i have weekly theraphy and by friday i am going back to doctor to check if i can go to work and what is the status of the bone which affected by the fracture. It is a bit deppressing, stressing because living alone here in Singapore is not easy especially when you have an unexpected circumstances, nilalakasan ko na lang ang loob ko at dasal kung wala i might become crazy and will become me depress. I thank God for the social media like netflix and youtube which i always watch to relax and enjoy. Stay safe Carla, i think we are both born in 1981 we need to be careful everytime in what we are doing, some of our bones become weak which we need to be careful. Love lots and regards to elena
I understand the mental turmoil! May I also advice that you find the root of your weakness? Kasi every injury reveals a weakness. And that's what you need to work on. Yes, our age makes it all the more urgent. We have to be careful with our movements and we have to move. If we don't move, we will all the more subject ourselves to injury as we age. :)

It's because I follow my mood not my goal pala. Btw, I really love your functional-athletic outfits. I believe it's a big factor talaga ng pagiging productive in a day. I don't know but someone told me before that in order not to abuse our body, we should not do extreme exercises. It has effects in our body, we cannot see it at early age but in our later age we'll see the effects of our extreme exercises. Do exercise but in moderation, not abusing the body. Walking exercise is good too when you do it regularly.
I agree with this, too. High impact really can injure! But that’s what makes me happy 😅 so i will keep doing it in the safest way possible because pwede naman! 😊
😢😢 im 40 and i have a sudden sharp pain on my knees. Ng worsen siya. Bfor 1x day lang siya umaatake and few seconds lang. Kanina mga 8x umatake grrr😢 kaya pa chek up nako bukas. Thougj no swelling na mn😢 life begins at 40 daw?😂 are they kidding??😅😅😅 laban lang tau momshhh😂❤
Yes, life begins at 40. Bodies ache and you have anacute sense of an aging body kaya mas urgent na gawan ng solusyon. Usually, painful knees signify a deeper problem -- find that problem and solve it! Mine got solved because I treted the problem.
