- Hi guys! It’s been a week since we had our Surgery journey! We feel a bit anxious about it but yeah through prayers from our families and friends nalagpasan namin!
I’d also like to acknowledge my very good husband na grabe ang pag aalaga! Thanks hon, alam mo na yun.
First time na pareho kaming wala ni Gregg. We missed our Baby Amila.

Iba tlga mgaccomodate ang mga medical staff s apinas compare dto sa abroad. Usually hip surgery day surgery lng sya tlga at napakapainful. Nakikita ko mga patient na in pain at napapasigaw tlga. I can say Angelica is so brave and lucky to have Gregg to assist her everytime she needs help❤️ Praying for your fast healing🛐

I had my spine surgery in the same hospital, July of 2019. This video made me relive those moments of uncertainties, pain, fear and all other kind of emotions. I couldnt sleep the day after my surgery, i felt i couldnt breathe. But God is good. He has been faithful and ever so real. I pray that you will be well soon. You are indeed very brave, and im happy your husband is there all the way. Get well soon! God bless!❤

Ms Angle, ako po ay 55 yrs old and na operahan Ng double hip replacement. Bale po July last year
Ang sakin Naman po napudpod na Yung ball joints KO Kaya no choice talaga.
Na diagnose ako bago mag lockdown Ng COVID, so ayaw pako operahan Ng Dr KO Kasi gagaling nga daw Yung hips KO pero may COVID Naman ako.
Umabot po na Di KO na maseperate ang both legs KO, naka baston nako maglakad and parang penguin. Pati po SA pag tulog Di pwede mag hiwalay. Kaya pagdurusa po talaga. And pinaka mahirap Yung mag #2!
Finally last year na bigyan nako Ng go signal, and naka ipon na Rin Ng funds Kaya naoperahan. Bale Meron po ako hiwa both side Ng hips MGA 6 inches each. 9 hours po ako naoperahan Kasi may fibrosis and no repair pa Yung pelvic bone KO.
1st day KO po post op mahirap Yung papalitan Ng diaper. Tulàd nyo may halong Hiya. Pero nag try ako na ako maglilinis SA sarili KO, Pero assisted pa din.
2nd day KO po Pina sit up nako and 3rd day Pina Tayo na. On my 4th day pinag start nako ng theraphy and pinalakad na.
Awa Naman po Ng Diyos Yung 6month theraphy KO natapos KO Lang Ng 6 weeks. (Kailangan po Kasi Mahal din Siya)
So now every morning and late afternoon I walk atleast 2km. Minsan po more pa pag maganda ang panahon. And I also workout Pero Yung prescribed Lang po na pwede KO gawin.
Not like before na konting galaw super painful na minsan namanhid na ata ako Sa sakit, post op Naman po wala nako naramdaman. Biogesic nga Lang po binigay sakin pag may pain ako.
Kaya nyo po Yan, and I'll pray for your speedy recovery. Wag Lang po madaliin. Isipin nyo Lang baby kayo na you have to learn everything again. Again I'll be praying for your recovery po.
Same po ng husband ko 2 hips replacement noong 2016 sa awa ng panginoon wala na ang sakit. Ngayon nagdrive pa din sya ng truck at the age of 54 magreklamo lang sya kung winter kasi may athritis din sya. Kaya gagaling din po kayo sa awa ng panginoon.

Sobrang excited KO nga nung sinundo nako going SA er, niloloko kopa ang dr ko na, doc im ready for my close up! Sabi KO nga 4hrs Lang dapat nag operation Kaso nga may fibrosis na and basag na. UNG pelvic bone KO Kaya inabot Ng 9hrs.
After nun nagising ako SA recovery na naka bukaka (na ilang taon Kong Di nagawa) den x-ray kaagad, nagulat nalang ako Binabale balentong na ako Ng doctor KO na parang mankla.
SA theraphy naman wag Lang isipin na masakit. Mahirap sya SA umpisa Kasi dami Kong muscles na ilang taon na Di nagamit, pero pag nagawa mo na super nakaka gaan Ng feeling. Basta sipag Lang, Kung ano tinuro Ng therapist, try gawin mag ISA, or mas maganda Kung may aalalay. Sipag po talaga at sabihin SA sarili na gagaling ako.

Mama ko naoperahan din sa hip kc yong ball joint din nya nabasag, nadulas kc but sad to say after ng surgery namatay mama ko. Napakabilis ng pangyayari kaya napakahirap samin lahat tanggapin ang nangyari sa kanya. Last May lang sya nawala 😢😢😢

I appreciate this channel , The Homans. Very natural and no sugar coating. Praying for your fast recovery Angel, I remember my mother had hip replacement surgery in 2017. Now she is almost 81 years old and still very stable. Pain is part of her life but not a reason not to keep her going. Hope you recover fast.

Buti nman sa pinas ka nag pa surgery Angelica. Currently sa healthcare ako nag wwork dito sa US for 20yrs na. Sobra dami complications at palpak na surgeries dito. Nag wwork ako sa isa sa pinaka malaking hospital sa NCali at it made no difference palpakers pa din. Mga friends and family ko paulit ulit na may mga prublema tuwing na a-admit sa hospital dito kahit sa ibat ibang ospital same outcome. Sa libro lang at news magagaling mga ospital dito sa states.
Ang mga pinoy na doctor tlga ang mga magagaling na skils at may care. Nag work din ako sa pinas kaya alam ko difference ng dedication at care ng mga tao.
Parents ko sa pinas ko din sila pina surgery. Kahit major surgeries pa yun. Mas tiwala ako sa skills ng pinoy. Sa dad ko Quadruple heart bypass sa Heart Center. Sa momy ko major abdominal surgery sa St Lukes BGC din. Both sila fast recovery at back to normal parang walang nangyari.

Not true! UCSF hospital is one of the best in California bar none; my daughter was operated there when she was born with a liver problem. She’s 27 now and shows no signs of liver issues. She also was at Oakland children’s hospital when she was 16 due to a bike accident I thought she wouldn’t make it but she did the children’s hospital doctors were all very nice and intelligent. So I don’t know why you said what you said about the healthcare here, and that Phillipines is better. First off hospitals and doctors in the phillipines will not treat you without paying thousands of money. You’ll be dead before the doctors treat you. My father is an example. The refused to give his actual diagnosis when he died in the hospital. The treatment there sucks and the service was horrible

Just sharing: My main job at a hospital (in the US) is to start rehab/PT for patients who underwent hip replacements. We follow a protocol called ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) and I usually see them about 3-4 hours post surgery in PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) when their sensation is back after spinal anesthetics. When their sensation is back, I then perform their phase 1 knee or hip exercises, stand, walk (with assistive device), negotiate stairs, caregiver training and then they go home the same day. They are usually amazed they can ambulate just a few hours after surgery. Usually, the thing I watch out for is their blood pressure after surgery, which is mitigated by receiving bolus fluids (this is part of the protocol anyway), eating post surgery and balancing pain meds (by nurses). Sorry for the long post, I just thought maybe you'd like to know this too. I am praying for a good outcome and speedy recovery.

Mas batang tinamaan ng ganyang kalalang sakit kasi 30years old palang po ako and same lang din po ng sinabi sakin about sa hip replacement. Ang kaso pag decompression sobrang laki ng need na pera para sa operasyon. Nakakatuwa at masaya po ako sa video mo Mrs.Homan kasi may pag asa pa po akong gumaling kung sakali. You are so brave Miss Angelica, get well the soonest. I have radiculopathy, mild scoliosis and my bones are deteriorating. I have a bones of 60 when I'm only 39. I'm just doing therapy from time to time to lessen the pain for few months. This will be my forever pain, some thinks it's just an easy kind of illness. They don't know how painful it is. I'm praying for our recovery Miss Angelica. Fighting!!!

Hello, the Homas family! Seeing you two made me cry, on how Gregg takes care of you, Angel ❤ I used to have a caring, loving, and super thoughtful husband, but he's gone now. GOd knows how I've missed him. It's been 4 years, but I know he is in a better place now. 😢

Nung nagpa hip surgery ako hindi nako nagstay sa hospital. Bale 90 minutes lang ang surgery tapos 3hrs akong tulog. Ginising ako ng nurse at binisita ng doctor. tinanong kung pwede na ko bumangon at pinalakad nako sa labas ng recovery room na naka walker. Binigyan ako ng reseta mga 8 klaseng gamot para sa pain pero parang 4 lang ang ininum ko, if needed lang kasi ang iba. Hindi na nila ako pinagstay sa hospital kasi mahal pa daw at kaya naman sa bahay magpagaling. Inadmit ako ng 7am 2pm nasa bahay na. One week bago ang surgery nagpablood test at nag check sa heart. May binigay na soap panligo. Covid pa nuon kaya kailangan magpatest sa covid.Two years na rin ang surgery ko both hips at ok nman. Nakakalakad na ng hindi sumasakit. Pero iba na talaga kesa sa dati. Kaya yan ni angge. May asawang nag aalaga. First time ko mag pasurgery takot lang ako sa injection kasi sa spinal ka tuturukan pero ok nman pag turok ilang seconds lang tulog nako. Pinikit ko nlang mata ko para diko makita ang mga aparato. Pagpasok kasi sa surgery room parang puro puti makikita mo.

Trying to save money and to make sure the patient is healthy and comfortable before she or he is ready to be released from the hospital and stay home for recovery. As long there is no infection. The hospital will provide the patient an instruction on how to do the therapy at home.
Biro mo, lahat na iproprovide sa iyo, ay may mga bayad. Kaya ang hospital bills ay too expensive. At saka recovery at home is better because, there is nurse in and out of your room, to check on you. If you are healthy enough, best go home, relax, slow down and complete rest.
Si Angelica, hindi siya katulad ng ibang mga celebrities na pagandahan dito, patalbukan doon, payabangan sa mga collection of their brand names of designer items. Para may department store in their own home. I am sure she has enough assets and savings to stay long enough in the hospital after the surgery. They also live a simple life. Good actress and she doesn’t pretend. When I had TFC then, I watched her sa MMK, etc.
Get well! Bumabalik din yan after so many years as we get older, so it is not 100 % . I know so many here in the States who had surgeries and continuously of complaining of such pains. Uncomfortable feelings. 💜💜💜💜.

@@michelleanngeneroso661 kagaya din kay angelica. Avascular necrosis. Hindi na ako makalakad sobrang sakit. Wala na raw ibang paraan kundi surgery. Wala naman sa family history ang ganung sakit kasi tinanong din ako ng doctor. Wala naman akong bisyo kagaya ng sigarilyo drugs at alak o madalas na pagtake ng pain reliever. Kaya sabi ng doctor dumadating nalang sa tao ang ganung sakit.
@@ssssssssshhhhhh masakit yung sa may singit ko sa left side. Nagpunta ako sa doctor at pina xray at sabi arthritis daw mag exercise raw ako kaya lagi akong naglalakad. Pero mga ilang bwan na ganun parin. Bumalik ulit ako sa doctor at ininjectionan ako para mawala yung sakit pero di rin nakatulong. Hanggang sa hindi ko na talaga makaya ang sakit dumerecho nako sa ER kaso yun din payo ng doctor ko. Inexray ako, ct scan mri. Pinagcompare lahat ang result at dun nalaman na avascular necrosis ang sakit ko. Pinapunta ako sa otho doctor at inexray din at ganun din sabi ng doctor. Ayaw ko magpaopera dahil hindi ako naniniwala na kailngan talaga operahan baka mawala din ang sakit. Sabi ng ortho doctor after 2months bumalik daw ako. At yun nga after 2months bumalik ako dahil hindi nako makalakad nakahiga nalang ako. Pag umupo naman ang hirap tumayo. Kahit pumunta sa banyo nahihirapan ako kailangan cane ako para may mahawakan.

Isa din po ako sa napakaswerte sa asawa, Last year ay naoperahan din po ako sa neck (Cervical 4,5,6) at talaga namn na napakahirap at sobrang sakit, lagi po ako nagpapasalamat sa DIOS dahil binigyan niya ako ng napakabait at mapagmahal na asawa, siya ang nag asikaso lahat lahat, pinagluluto niya ako at pinapakain, sinasamahan sa banyo, pinapaliguan, at iba pa! Sa awa po ng DIOS ay magaling na po ako🙏🙏
