The Heatap thing for those who didn't know is something Team Four Star made up because it was one of the drinks in Trunk's Fridge when he first showed up
Wow, I just realized Piccolo pretty much fights every main protagonist and antagonist in this show EXCEPT Vegeta: He even fights characters like Oolong and Bulma in the Garlic Jr. Saga. But never even lays a hand on Vegeta, unless you count when Vegeta fought those Piccolo and Gotenks doppelgangers inside Buu's Body, but yeah I don't!
True, he fought Raditz, Frieza, Cell and Buu but never Vegeta, i never realised that :D Krillin fought Vegeta, Frieza, Cell (tried to) and i think Buu as well
The first to use the split technique was Tien in the original dragon ball. He used it against goku in the martial arts tournament and goku shows the flaw in the technique which is the split of the power.
Well, Goku didn't really get taught any moves other than the Spirit Bomb. Because literally every other case he saw someone else use a move and then stole it.
Not really true, he was also taught the Kaioken, the Instant Transmission technique and the Fusion Dance; As for Tien, he's never showed teaching anyone, but he *was* the original character to use loads of common techniques later on: He was the first to fly, to use the Solar Flare and the clonning technique.
I think it was explained in the original series, that transforming into a Super Saiyan cost Goku and the others a lot of energy, and Goku realized they needed to master the transformation before the battle with Cell. In order to do that, Goku and Gohan remained Super Saiyans until the tournament without going back to normal. Like that, Goku wouldn't lose energy when going Super Saiyan. He's pretty smart when it comes to battle.
One thing that no DBZ fans seems to be able to answear is that apperently SSJ gives you a 50x power boost. But basically here Goku made the SSJ form stronger. But no one seems to be sure if that means it is now a 50x power or greater.
it is still 50x boost all they did was make it so that being in this state uses no more energy than being in their normal state, as vegetas version used ki to inflate the muscles improving power and speed but u lose power at a far faster rate, and trunks took that 1 step further but the inflated muscles were so large that he lost speed as explained by goku during the dub
Foster Farm Well if that´s the case then that means they whould be able to be as powerful as they are fighting Cell later as they were fighting the androids only problem being they could´t fight for as long time. But I know I know DBZ don´t question it to much Toriyama sure dose´t XD
No I think it different they are using the form that Vegeta is using but they have mastered it like you said and are using less ki to maintain thus they are able to up there power even more by using KI without going that form Trunks was using plus I also assumed training while super saiyan for extended periods allowed their base forms to be stronger as well making the 50x boost even better.
Popo said: "Only two of you maggots can enter at a time" And everyone follows Popos rules. Else everyone can take Piccolo with them, since he doesn't eat food.
To quote the wiki on it: there are only enough provisions to accommodate two people for one full year. This is commonly misinterpreted as a two-person limit overall, but it should be noted that in the Buu Saga four people in total were inside the chamber.
Dragon Ball Super Spoilers: almost as sad as Goku Showing future trunks the only super form close to as useless as his old Ultra form after he learned SS2. Seriously Goku, that form is useless unless you're in the afterlife why are you teaching it to the Saiyan who has a history of not noticing the fatal flaws of super forms?
Well I see it this way: the whole point of his father's, Piccolo's, Vegita's and even his own sacrifices were to build a better future. Now that that future has been obtained and that Vegita ang Goku can overcome any obstacle what would be the point of Gohan not enjoying his life. They all fought for a better life. If everybody never settled down then they would be no point in fighting. Goku and Vegita love fighting, Gohan just wants to enjoy life with his family. Him just continuing would mean all their efforts were in vain. That's why everybody settelled down. They are all as strong as they need to be. A happy ending only works if that ending is an ending, not just an unfinished story.
*+amyar123* As much as I understand that, they'd basically been constantly training and fighting against world-shattering threats that have escalated in power throughout all of Gohan's childhood and teenage years, sometimes with a year or two in between. Not keeping up on even routine training is stupid, because anyone with any foresight or intelligence would see that the possibility for more is always right around the corner. Of course, everything would be way different if the characters in the Dragon Ball series had any real foresight or intelligence. The entire cast carried the idiot ball *constantly.*
amyar123 Don't get me wrong, I understand why Gohan gives up training and completely support the character trying to enjoy his life, it's just a little sad to see our badass Son Gohan become a side character, that's all :)
1:57 Nope. The chamber has some rules on the original source. Only 2 people. Only 24 hours in a row A person can only stay 48 hours inside the chamber in his lifetime. Otherwise the door disapears while you are inside and you get stuck in that dimension forever.
The manga/anime contradicts this rules itself in the Boo saga, where Piccolo, Trunks, Goten and Boo are all in the room at the same time. I don't remember when/where this was mentioned (or if this was non-canon) but they explained that the "Time-Delation" is only in effect when two or less people are in the chamber and when the door is closed. Once there are more than two in the room the time moves normal.
So, it's assumed that only two people can go in at a time because there's only so much food, even if it regenerates. There is a point where Piccolo, Goten, and (Present) Trunks are all in there at once, but they really only had at the very least a few hours (a few minutes outside the Chamber). Not to mention that a day still goes on while they're in the chamber; it's not like things don't happen, so what if they needed someone to defend Earth for the moment but no one was there? So yes, they could have all gone in there at once, but it would have been _HIGHLY_ impractical.
They explain why only 2 people can be in there at the same time, It has been a long while since i heard the reason but i think if more then 2 people go in there then the door will vanish and they will be trapped in there forever , just like if you spend more then 2 years in there.
I don't remember when/where this was mentioned (or if this was non-canon) but they explained that the "Time-Delation" is only in effect when two or less people are in the chamber and when the door is closed. Once there are more than two in the room the time moves normal, that's why Piccolo and Boo could enter the chamber even though Trunks and Goten where already in. Once Piccolo and Boo where in the room the time moved normal, untill Boo destroyed the dimension barrier and escaped. When he did, only two people remained in the room (Piccolo and Gotenks) and the time moved more slowly again. That's why only seconds in the real world had passed from the point when Boo escaped to when Piccolo and Gotenks escaped, even though they spent quite a while trying to break the dimension barrier. And before this is mentioned: I know it was just explained exactly like this in DB Multiverse but this explanation is way older and I think they also drew their inspiration from that reference.
so ahhh Halloween is soon *nudge*, know any themed series(possibly made by TFS) i could watch at that time? *hint* possibly on *A SEVENTY INCH PLASMA SCREEN TV...... WITH NETFLIX*....*HINT*. AKA. Hellsing abridged request
Probably been mentioned already, but you guys popped up in Plinkett's "The Force Awakens" review. Just remember that his description of you guys is tongue-in-cheek, since his channel also does reaction vids. XD
The Multi Form doesn't really work like that. Like say his second form does not regain energy back like the Original. So if Piccolo has 1k power level each has 500. While the real one can regain his energy back the fake one can not.
You don't have to spend a whole year inside of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, that is just the maximum you can stay during one training session, with two being the maximum in DBZ. They implied that only the strongest can really stand the chamber because it has stronger gravity as well, which can be exhausting if you spent too much time under it. If you went into the chamber, and when you exit, its just 1/365 what ever you spent in the chamber, be it a whole year or just a day. Also, the gravity of the chamber may be a requirement of its use, as gravity plays a key role in the measurement of actual time.
The reason why it has to be only 2 it's because if more go in the door to the chamber disappear as Popo explains in the real series and you can see that when Piccolo, Trunks, Gotens and Super Buu go in which afterwards the door disappear the only way they get back is because they make a bridge which got them back to the real world
The room will produce enough food for two people, but it's based on the metabolism of the two people who go in. So, whether you eat like a saiyan or a namekian, it will accommodate two individuals. Also, there are only two beds.
Laws of the rule change with plot convenience. At the time, there were some rules regarding how many people, how long, and how many times in the chamber or else the door would permanently lock.
There's actually a Doctor Who Episode called 'The Girl Who Waited' that involves a similar concept to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber as a means for people who are terminally ill to be able to live out an entire lifetime in the span of a day.
You know, I didn't think about this with the multi form technique until just now, but it's basically like Naruto's shadow clones..like, I wonder if someone could split to 4, train all 4 of them, then get 4 times the training done in the same amount of time? Imagine that in the time chamber, you could get 4 years of training done in one day..
the original material does say that the Hyperbolic Time Chamber - or Room of Spirit and Time, to use the Japanese name - has enough food to sustain two individuals for a year, or one person for two years. So, they could theoretically all enter the room, but the amount of food wouldn't change, so they wouldn't be able to stay in there as long before running out of food.
In the original series Goku explains to Vegeta (Vegeta wants the whole week in the time chamber), that only 1.5 years are possible to stay inside that chamber. And the 1.5 years limit counts for your whole life. What they doesn't explain is, if you die and get revived by the Dragon Balls, could you go inside for another 1.5 years or not. The purpose of the limit is clear, without limits they could go inside as often as they want and become Saiyan Gods (or what ever) within real time weeks. In the series the explanation for the limit is, that the time chamber drains energy from your body, that only 1.5 years are possible to withstand.
Definitely picking the 1 day= 1 year outside chamber. I don't have to go in alone. Me and my family will be able to see time that we could never see in our lifetimes and maybe in the far future there will be a means to keep up living longer so then if we wish to stop then we won't have to worry about death anytime soon. When things go bad then we run back into the chamber.
I always thought of using the hyperbolic time chamber to catch up on sleep. Say I stay up too late and I have to go to work in the morning. All I have to do is step into the chamber, set my alarm, get six hours of sleep when only a few minutes in the real world passed so I could get to work rested and on time. lmao
I feel like you'd be driven mad if you stayed in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber all by yourself for a year.... No human contact for a whole year? Na couldn't do it... I'd last for about a week or 2 and then crack
The HTC in it's current form (at this point in Z) has a couple limitations. You can only spend 48 real-world hours (2 years) total in the chamber in your life. If somebody exceeds 2 years in the chamber, the door will disappear and they'll be trapped forever, and nobody else will be able to enter. The Chamber only has enough food for 2 people for 1 year (or one person for 2 years).
In the hyperbolic time chamber time moves one-year inside one day outside which means when you go inside for one year it will be only one day in the real world which is the opposite of what you guys think
Regarding the Hyperbolic Time Chamber (Room of spirit and time) only two people can enter at once but is retconned in the Buu saga and you can only stay in there for two days in your entire life but is retconned again in Dragonball Super
Well, the anti-hyperbolic time chamber kinda already exists. The effect anyway. Just go to space, and travel close to the speed of light! :D ... ...OK, perhaps not the most practical.
Considering how gravity increases linearly the further you get from the entrance, you will have to spend that year living in a 20-20 square ft if you don't want to suffer organ damage. You won't have internet access as well, so better bring a shit ton of books.
I am commenting from 2020 and you guys probably won't read it but still: If I was given an option to chose which hyperbolical time chamber I want , I would choose the latter(the one which Aaron suggested) because : It could be the solution to many catastrophes and apocalypses concerning human extinction. For example , if there was ever a zombie apocalypse or an alien invasion or the aliens from area 51 escape or there is super human takeover or warfare or a super large scale natural disaster or a global pandemic (such as which we are currently facing) or a super volcanic eruption or exhaustion of minerals and resources or antibiotic resistance or super intelligent robots try to exterminate human life or something (you get the idea) , we can go there and be safe + We can end poverty and world hunger , preserve pragmatic items ,... +It would also be useful in the context of Dr Stone (not gonna spoil you probably won't read this but still)
SuperSayin Vegito actually, I believe that there was only enough food for two people to go inside, not a limit of two people! With a maximum of 48 hours spent in the chamber. However, after Dende restored the RoSaT, the time limit was changed.
PixelCrafterZ that's just your own head canon because it's never been stated during the series. They can solve a lot of plot holes by just having one of the characters say something but they were to lazy
You want to go in there for a day but a year passes, so many people can die in a year so its not certain that you can even see your loved ones grow up. You could even miss their funeral.
Naruto made a nice attempt at explaining how multi forms and shadow clones add on to your experience and training when used as opposed to trying to solo train.
If I am not mistaken, Goku lied to Vegeta about that only two ppl can enter the hipersonic lion chamber at once. He wanted Vegeta to get closer to Trunks.
Yes it can support more than 2...because buu, gotenks, trunks and piccolo was in there at the sametime...the 2 person thing i think was probably about the food idk they always ret com themselves anyway when writing
I think you guys forget how the chamber works, it's a year inside and a day outside. so if u were in there for 6 years then only 6 days outside not the other way around
+Phoinex Hound Yea, I know they have them, I'm just disappointed they put out two Gokus and no Vegeta despite having access to them, I think they have a Vegeta Pop too, if I'm not mistaken
They all learned the splitting technique from Tien, who used it first in the dragonball series, the tournament match of goku vs tien, it was before goku beat Piccolo then. Thats the only time it was really showed before they hit the dragonball Z series.
You wouldn't even survive for an hour in the Room of Spirit and Time (aka Hyperbolic Timechamber). Don't forget that there are very harsh living conditions. From EXTREME heat and EXTREME cold. It can get so hot that flames can form. AND there is also a higher gravity and the air is much harder to breath. You won't probably even be able to move.
In the actual anime, I was under the impression that the "two people" limit was something Goku did to force Vegeta to spend time with Trunks. Because later, there is a time when people are there
The Mulitform technique is originally Tien's it splits your power by the number you make. Like in Naruto you retain memories and increase faster using it.
All the talk of time chambers at the end made me think....in this abridged episode, is Piccolo in the chamber for 3 days outside time, so 3 yrs inside? Or only 3 days inside time, so like 8 hrs outside time?
hey guys, while waiting for the latest episode of DBZA, why not check out Yu Gi Oh Abridged series. i mean LittleKuriboh (the creator) is the father of abridged, he was the man who introduced this abridged thing before TFS was created

well actually goku never used it

In the series the explanation for the limit is, that the time chamber drains energy from your body, that only 1.5 years are possible to withstand.
Definitely picking the 1 day= 1 year outside chamber.
I don't have to go in alone. Me and my family will be able to see time that we could never see in our lifetimes and maybe in the far future there will be a means to keep up living longer so then if we wish to stop then we won't have to worry about death anytime soon. When things go bad then we run back into the chamber.
It's so funny that these guys tell us their names in every video. It reminds me of Teletubbies.
I'd last for about a week or 2 and then crack
u guys should react to Dragonball super
no
Maybe when it's dubbed
that would be nice
The movies are the English dub but we will have to wait for the sagas
When it's dubbed.
**sigh** you really are an idiot.
26:00 Eric and Aaron talking about using the reverse-hyperbolic-timechamber as a fridge is hilarious
I think Tien invented the clone ability. He first showcased the ability against Goku in the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament.
Lol now Goku can't stop picturing Shane with a mustache!
Just found this channel. Love the reactions. Hippo Tiger Chamber "thats a terrible idea" 🤣
good job on the reaction guys, keep up the good work
I am commenting from 2020 and you guys probably won't read it but still:
If I was given an option to chose which hyperbolical time chamber I want , I would choose the latter(the one which Aaron suggested) because :
It could be the solution to many catastrophes and apocalypses concerning human extinction. For example , if there was ever a zombie apocalypse or an alien invasion or the aliens from area 51 escape or there is super human takeover or warfare or a super large scale natural disaster or a global pandemic (such as which we are currently facing) or a super volcanic eruption or exhaustion of minerals and resources or antibiotic resistance or super intelligent robots try to exterminate human life or something (you get the idea) , we can go there and be safe
+ We can end poverty and world hunger , preserve pragmatic items ,...
+It would also be useful in the context of Dr Stone (not gonna spoil you probably won't read this but still)
2:05 no only two at a time and can only enter for a total of two days in their entire life but in super they changed it to unlimited time
SuperSayin Vegito yes and in the Buu saga they retconned the number of people at once.
The multi form technique was developed by the Crane school
The opposite chamber could be used to catch up on sleep. 10 hours of sleep would only take like 4 minutes in the real world
Great birthday gift thanks!
Naruto made a nice attempt at explaining how multi forms and shadow clones add on to your experience and training when used as opposed to trying to solo train.
man I love the stranger thing shirts both Eric and Calvin are wearing.
When Aaron was talking about seeing the future both me and Calvin yelled "I CAN SEE THE FUTUUURRE!!!" at the same time! 😂😂😂
I think you guys forget how the chamber works, it's a year inside and a day outside. so if u were in there for 6 years then only 6 days outside not the other way around
tien can split too, I think it's from both turtle hermit and krane schools of martial arts
Cell was definitely talking to Nappa
You have two Goku figures sitting out, but no Vegeta? For Shame...... I'm so disappointed
+Phoinex Hound Yea, I know they have them, I'm just disappointed they put out two Gokus and no Vegeta despite having access to them, I think they have a Vegeta Pop too, if I'm not mistaken
They only have strong characters there.
unfortunately there's no vegeta figure the size of goku yet
Darkling276
Exactly, and he has a figurine.
GG A
Aww, a vagina fanboy is butthurt, how adorable.
Something about gokus sudden bicuriocity upon seeing Cell is weirdly hilarious
Great way to kick off the morning
To me, the Cell Saga Gohan is the definitive Gohan. Say "Gohan" and that's where my mind goes.
You guys HAVE to react to ssj9k's broly parody 😂😂😂
Chi chi is a femdom! That's awesome!
Fuck yeah. That's my shit right there
3:38 3:52 Aw look at the 2 little babies lost and forgotten to time
The door locks after a year
I used to call it Hypobolic Time Chamber when I was kid, XD
10:21 "Ba Ba Ba" turns out trunks has been speaking to his baby self.
all four of them have different facial hair styles... cool
Cell is talking to Nappa at 7:51
Nice catch!
Guys i dont know if you know but TFS relased some short scenes from draginball super that are ABRIDGED
hey guys, while waiting for the latest episode of DBZA, why not check out Yu Gi Oh Abridged series. i mean LittleKuriboh (the creator) is the father of abridged, he was the man who introduced this abridged thing before TFS was created
I don't remember that moment with chi chi
that was how goten was born
remember how saiyans are at their best from like 16 to 80 or something? the hyperbolic time chamber does cool stuff like that becoming a useless fact
Something you guys should watch together is the 9 part Goku vs Saitama fight!!!
With everybody making reactions to dbz abridged, I finally decided to watch the regular series. I'm at episode buu vs buu. I can't wait till a certain "Mr. Torgue" from borderlands appears on here though.
That one guy who’s lost “what happened” oh gosh lmao
Actually in the foreclosure buu saga piccolo says the food is infinite
I think I know why goten turned Super sayian so early; SSJ Goku plus chi chi 😹😹😹
I love Shane's mustache.
Watching this 7 years after the fact 19:00. Yeah I'd wait a few more than just the 6 years
6:10 is a reference to takahata 101 bursting into screwattack enraged at goku vs superman
That's true about putting collectable things in the chamber.
