  • The Shure SLXD wireless system. Released back in August, it replaced the industry changing SLX wireless. We love how easy this system is to use and how high quality it is.

    I have a question. I am a vocalist and I would like to know if I can buy the slxd 1 with the slxd24 beta58 without needing the larger slxd4d system or do I need both to be able to use the slxd1 and hear my voice with the headphones connected to the slxd1

      @PeterESchmittCompany  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there! Thanks for the question. The SLXD1 can be used with the SLXD24, but only one transmitter can be used at a time. If you are looking for something to connect your headphones to and hear your vocal back wirelessly, you need to look at a wireless IEM system, such as the Shure PSM300. If you have any deeper technical questions, we suggest you reach out to your local Shure dealer and they will be able to assist you in getting the right products for your needs. Thanks!

    question, i saw another video explaining how microphones that don't use 2.4 mhz can be illegal in some areas because other frequencies outside of 2.4 are for tv channels. Soo my question is '' are these mic's blocked from those frequencies from the manufacture/ by default or is it something we as the buyers need to avoid"?

    • @PeterESchmittCompany

      Thanks for the question! That video is correct in that there are SOME frequencies outside of 2.4 that are illegal to use and it is also illegal to sell mics that function in those frequency bands, but with that said, all new Shure wireless mics are sold to function within the legal frequency bands. There are TV stations that function within the same frequency band as wireless mics. That doesn't make them illegal, but that can cause some interference. So before purchasing, you will want to visit the Shure Frequency Finder, plug in your location, and it will give you what the best frequency band to use in your area is to get the least amount of interference. You can visit the Shure Frequency Finder here: www.shure.com/en-US/support/tools/frequency-finder
      Thanks and have a great day! :)

    Thank "yu" for the review... Bought the SLDX. -and I must comment on The Wight of the MIc..w/ Sm58 - Not sure i'd want to hold that hefty 'barbell' for a 2-hour performance. Your dramatic :05 -singing description (5:37) 'Shure' did not take (hours of holding) that into consideration - Handling Noise is a measurable factor as to the Reason to buy this mic. Thanks again for Review - I may come to enjoy the Weight and Feel. - I can now cancel my Gym membership and develop some biceps like yours.

    If I may ask, can the buttons on the transmitter be turned off?

    • @PeterESchmittCompany
      @PeterESchmittCompany  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! Thanks for the question. On the transmitters, you are able to lock the menu and the power switch. This will allow for the transmitter to be locked and if someone accidentally hits a button or the power switch, it will not changes any settings or turn off.

    How does this compare with ulxp?

    • @PeterESchmittCompany
      @PeterESchmittCompany  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the question! The biggest difference is that ULXP is an analog wireless system, which has been discontinued and replaced by ULXD, and SLXD is a digital wireless system. If you would like to learn more about Digital versus Analog wireless systems, Shure has this article posted: service.shure.com/s/article/analog-wireless-microphones-vs-digital-wireless?language=en_US
