What the amateur "speculators" don't realize is that the professional speculators bought all these issues years ago and are selling into FOMO. If you buy into the hype now, you're literally hoping a kid watching a movie today (or might watch a movie 4 years from now if the character actually appears) will return in 20 years to buy their nostalgia. Otherwise you are just selling to other speculators. Just buy the characters and books you like.
White Tiger #1 was purchased when I was looking for Hispanic heroes and I wanted to highlight them as wall books. I originally was looking for the first White Tiger, the first Puerto Rican superhero, when I discovered that he was replaced with this version. Great covers on this series but Spec worthy?, hell no. Avengers #8 was always overpriced to me because of the movie spec but one I will pick up now that the hype is dying down. Godzilla from Marvel back in the 70's was a fun 24 issue run that I collected and remembered fondly. When comics were fun to read. But #1 being worth much, I don't know. It has nothing to do with the current movies but if you wonder what Godzilla would be like in the Marvel Universe this is a cool series to read. Godzilla versus SHIELD, the Fantastic Four, the Avengers and yes my favorite Devil Dinosaur then this is a series to get. Thanks REGIE for reminding us that we need to collect smarter.
Avengers #8 is a prime example of why one should not buy a key comic because of movie hype. Buy the comic because you like it. Kang is one of the top Marvel villains, and Avengers #8 is still an early Avengers book, so it will always command some value. That value will be hurt in the short term by Majors' guilty verdict, but if you keep the book for the long run, you'll still be fine.
Buy what u love because u could get destroyed iron heart is prime example not really a bad character just no momentum. Black manta if dosn’t sell I’m kool with it he’s just awesome.
So I Own White Tiger #1 (The whole limited series in fact and all of the covers are gorgeous). I bought it at the time of publication so I WILL be sending that in to be graded... it's a strong 9.8 candidate for sure. I also made a deal for Godzilla #1, #2, 3-10 and a couple of other misc. issues all for $250 raw. The issue #1 just needs a press but even if it doesn't get the 9.8, It's for the PC anyway... I'm more likely to sell the other issues. I typically don't buy slabs... I buy raw and slab onb my own if the book merits it.

I have raw copies of Fantastic four 19 and Avengers 8 my dad bought right off the newsstand in 63 and 64 Kang is top 5 Marvel villain in my opinion!

Well, you could always buy any of those books raw.
And, you would still potentially be overpaying which is sorta the point of the video.
