Absolutely beautiful work. Quick questions ~ what would be the risk of water making its way through the wall from rain? In a wet region, would a waterproof sealant be required on the block work?

Thanks mate, it has and agricultural drain down the back with clean lime stone over it and a few weep holes at the bottom so there should be no issues there

It’s a building sand/ river sand mix mate

Do you have to fill the cavity? What if i wanted a layer of insulation, 30mm air gap, sarking, and brick ties? Would a cavity similar to a double brick wall compromise the structural integrity of the stone skin?
