They still increase how long your rested EXP lasts and scale with you as you level so you don't have to keep swapping out gear until you get meaningful improvements. I am still bummed they got rid of the flat exp buff though, but overall leveling is faster so it's a trade off at least.

Some things have changed regarding the pre-event since this video was recorded: - The event starts every 60 minutes in changing zones - The event is repeatable for the whole hour it's active - Zone quests are account-wide and daily - Loot drops aren'tt tied to the specialization (9/11 items i got as a ret paladin were one-handed weapons or mail, cloth or leather) - Rewards (residual memories) were increased
or heal/buff them in the game world. Advertising that you can do world content cross faction is complete BS and in classic Blizz fashion, a halfassed implementation
and that tagging is still a thing... if someone in a party hits a mob (either faction), anyone else outside of that party still wont get credit for it, unless its a already shared mob (like boss or rare etc.)
btw loadouts is a good addon for saving talents and skills on bars per spec and you can save multiple preset talent builds per spec there might not even be a limit and it is easy to access across all characters of that same class and spec.
One thing about the transmogs that you should have mentioned is if you do a raid like Tomb of Sargeras and a class tier piece drops, you cannot learn it unless you are on that class, so a paladin can only unlock paladin class tier pieces that is not created from a token.
Regarding the new transmog system, I've found that picking up class specific, not token gear, doesn't count either. I wanted the mythic Nighthold DK set, and they won't give me the transmog on anything other than my DK, even tho they're not tokens
Not sure if they changed it but when prepatch dropped, running old raids like antorus still dropped gear that was for single classes only, such as gear locked to shamans, and you wouldn’t get the appearance if you weren’t that class
Legion raids are dropping direct tier set items with a class requirement. Those do not unlock transmog if you are not the correct class (I agree they should). All other raids that drop tier tokens are warband bound and can be mailed around.
ive only gotten credit for *one* event. the rest either didn't spawn the boss or straight up didn't give me kill credit (despite being flagged as complete in the quest log).
Ive also noticed playing that the transmog greens and greys are warbound too but as of last night the warbond bank is still broken (screen still shows) , most blues to purples add to the transmog collection
Unfortunately MC, BWL, WoD and Legion Raids drop the individual tier set pieces and not tokens so you cannot unlock those appearances unless you are on that class. Hopefully they make those pieces Warbound until Equipped

The xmog for other armor types is actually limited to non-set pieces. I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but set pieces do not get added if you're not the proper class.
Personally, I’m just going to stay leveling in mop remix. I enjoy pandaria zones and it’s been fun dragon flying through them. Something about everyone telling me to slow down makes me smile. Plus, the rewards are way better. I’m going to replace the radiant echos gear the day the expansion drops and I personally find the radiant mount colors ugly.
@bellular I have what I think would be a great idea for a video series - other mmo's already do it, so not taking claim to the idea. Create a spec/rotation using only 8 buttons. This includes attacks/defensives/heals/etc. The idea isn't the most DPS - the idea is DPS that will pass in raids up to mythic. The premise is easy to do combat for those with disabilities, or need to play on controller.
Transmog is actually very limited by class tier sets that are NOT warbound and are soulbound instead, so basically nothing changed when it comes to tier set drops for other classes. Old tier tokens are warbound, but new ones from WoD and Legion etc are not.
Honestly, the MoP Remix Exploiters made the bronze collection easier for the rest of us so, yeah, if they wanna go and screw themselves, I'll happily benefit from their screw up.

They've locked our Remix characters until the end of that event so we can't use them to farm this pre-patch gear, or even go and do some old content transmog farms etc, yet they have made the xp for this event abysmal so you can't even level a character using it. The prepatch is horrible it ruined the already shitty performance further, the event is both boring and unrewarding as shit, the gear is butt ugly as was its Legion alternative, and the lag is amazing.

@@richiepipes8960 ESO is great for a casual MMO if you're looking for a solo rpg experience with other players nearby. The dungeons and trials (raids) are good too but a bit of an afterthought to openworld collection and story content. Class balance/identity is usually a mess with half of your skills being tied to a weapon rather than your class, and meta weapons being the same across all classes. Also gear is horizontal so once you have max level gear, you will have it forever. Also has a housing feature and a big focus on daily crafting, but expect a lot of the qol features for this and the rest of the game to be in the in game store.
Just because I was curious: I ran my lv30 XPlocked ALT through the scenario to see what would happen. They got the full 1500 Residual Memories reward, but the quest and end boss was not the same as on a lv70 - obvious yes I know. The end boss didn’t instant kill them and seems to be scaled down to your level. I ended up getting given a blue ilevel 32 necklace which is way worse than dungeon drop loot for a lv30. No warforged gear dropped that I could pass on. I wouldn’t recommend doing it, just use your 70s. Lower lv twinks don’t get any overpowered items in this event it seems
Not sure what's worst now the Radiant Echoes event has dropped - that you clear it in ten mins and have 1.5hr wait for the next, or that the FPS drops so bad on the end boss that you can barely cast your spells correctly.
TWW = Less GRINDY and Quality of Life. PVP which is what I mainly do is extremely better to gear and no VAULT. This is defiantly one of the best expansions ever made.
I kind of hate that soulbound items can't be traded with our warband. I've had the mainhand warglaive of azzinoth sitting in my hunters bank for over 10 years and I still can't do anything with it.
Just a heads up, since I don’t think it’s documented anywhere: I just found out the Warband bank does not fit more than 99.999.999 gold. Which I realize is plenty for most people but there will always be some who exceed that (I have 120 million gold) so a bit of a bummer I can’t stash it all.
Tier gear does not warband at all for any classes, IF i am wrong and someone has a way around it let me know. Otherwise the warband Tmog was a let down when i mainly wanted it for tier pieces from raids.
Man i saved up a ton of tier pieces for other classes only to be slapped in the face by another blizzard L. They wont let you move legacy tier pieces through the warbank to the correct classes.
What do you use to use the same keybinds on different chars but same class? I have a couple and struggle to remember where to put the abilities between them all xD
When everyone talked about transferring currencies between alts, the process was not well explained. I assumed you had to do like before and send them to an alt. Nope. You take them.
They nerfed everyone's speed sets (longstrider especially), nerfed the gold in old raids again, the prepatch event is crap, I can't even get into Dalaran without dcing, and to top it off any class specific transmog is still not learnable by any class... I farmed 100+ items that are just sitting in my bank unsure whether they should be vendored or not.
My Pandaria characters can't do this, right? I have to wait for that? And I've mained a mage since 2008 and I just dropped her out of fire into arcane, which is what I originally was. So yeah, that video helped a lot, she's doing some good DPS.
Been in it for a long time. Main Guild Bank is for all my alts. Have a Alt with a bank just for all the food types since classic. Have another Alt with a Guild Bank just for Storage of Mats from each xpac. 17 toons with maxed bags, yeah I have enough standard bag space. However, would definitely welcome some more Void Storage
Regarding the cross realm guilds. I have a few members who are cross realm but, they cannot use the guild bank, can't trade items and can't mail them items. Do you think this is something that is going to be fixed. I mean what is the point for cross realm guilds without the perks from the guild?
Why does no one say anything about the camera change barely working? Some stuff it will highlight me and keep yhe camera behind something. But random trees and pillars act like solid walls.
I really wish that I could have some toggles for faction, server, and maybe even different views like a list as it is now then a tab view for a more compact layout because having 30+ all in one long list is pain
for me "hoarder" the space you have in bags / warbank is not enough, i wish they add that you can add more space and remove max 1000 stack to unlimited and only limit it on when you want to sell it.
That is a gross misrepresentation of the new transmog rules. Leaving out the fact that anything belonging to a specific class doesn't get collected unless you're that class is a major omission.

I tried to assign different things to different tabs in the warband bank, and when I clicked sort, everything sorted across the tabs and mucked everything up. So that is annoying

The memories sounds like an unnecessarily long grind that involves dozens if not hundreds of hours. Considering it's a 4 week even and you can only get like 6k per week, I mean sure if you can do it on alts but even doing it on 10 is still only 60k =/
A fifth toon for the "favorites" would complete a party, and could be used in NPC dungeons instead of the randos we got.

The fact that each mob only gives you 1-3 memories per kill, and that the gear is 5k memories is a crime. I farmed for an hour and only got 600.
The daily quests are where it's at. I got 1,500 memory from one daily turn in.

The quest popped on my lvl 69 mage but not in any of my max lvl characters. Anyone else with this issue? Someone help me :(
It’s a warband quest. You’ll need to show completed warband quests on the map filter and pick up the quest manually.

It took me 7 days to get all the TBC dungeon transmog. Its nuts how much quicker to get instanced transmog is now

Been in it for a long time. Main Guild Bank is for all my alts. Have a Alt with a bank just for all the food types since classic. Have another Alt with a Guild Bank just for Storage of Mats from each xpac. 17 toons with maxed bags, yeah I have enough standard bag space. However, would definitely welcome some more Void Storage
My alt guild bank holds all previous expansion stuff, warband holds current. Assuming this is what everyone else does too.

Other exception for transmogs : MC and BWL class specific loots, it won't unlock on other characters, sadly

Regarding the cross realm guilds. I have a few members who are cross realm but, they cannot use the guild bank, can't trade items and can't mail them items. Do you think this is something that is going to be fixed. I mean what is the point for cross realm guilds without the perks from the guild?

Why does no one say anything about the camera change barely working? Some stuff it will highlight me and keep yhe camera behind something. But random trees and pillars act like solid walls.
I really wish that I could have some toggles for faction, server, and maybe even different views like a list as it is now then a tab view for a more compact layout because having 30+ all in one long list is pain
for me "hoarder" the space you have in bags / warbank is not enough, i wish they add that you can add more space and remove max 1000 stack to unlimited and only limit it on when you want to sell it.
That is a gross misrepresentation of the new transmog rules. Leaving out the fact that anything belonging to a specific class doesn't get collected unless you're that class is a major omission.
That goes without saying if you’ve played the game. If you’re not that class, don’t expect to be putting in or collecting their $hit.
@@peacepipe6695 There are non-tier lookalike pieces that can be collected (and even worn) by other classes, so this argument makes no sense. If we can collect basically everything else including tier tokens, why draw the line at this one arbitrary point?

The former already exists for at least a few spells. I've noticed it for Shadow Crash and Earthquake.
@@OakenTome Yes but I'm talking about across the board, because for some reason one of the classes that doesn't have it (death knight) is one of the classes in which the ground target ability (death and decay) is essential to the rotation and also feels the awful to use.
I keep getting the wrong armour type when farming on my priest, I've gotten way more Leather and Plate drops and had to buy all my cloth so far, not seen any Mail
Drops are NOT working as to spec. I got a polearm for my MM hunter.
I feel like my server changed location. I have constantly 25 more world ping since the patch last week. Always sat at 40 now always sitting at 65.

Has raid transmog items been fixed now? I did a bunch of them last week and class-specific items were not going into the wardrobe. Other items were, but not the class-specific ones.
Should be fixed as of todays update.

I tried to assign different things to different tabs in the warband bank, and when I clicked sort, everything sorted across the tabs and mucked everything up. So that is annoying

The memories sounds like an unnecessarily long grind that involves dozens if not hundreds of hours. Considering it's a 4 week even and you can only get like 6k per week, I mean sure if you can do it on alts but even doing it on 10 is still only 60k =/
