Well done, like u said Michelin Pilot Tyres would of made huge difference. I still think a STI Scooby would run rings around that Golf R The 180 diff and Brembo brakes are in another league 😜
If you mean a standard sti then your crazy both cars stock are neck and neck the golf probably slightly better in the rain,but a stock sti couldn't touch a 500 hp golf r stock sti,s just keep up with my mk6 golf r and it only has an intake.
@ no my GB 270 has a twinscroll VF37 turbo with a 3 port boost valve. Uprated injectors modified intake and decatted exhaust. An uprated Forge Red Actutator. 6 speed STI box and 180 diff. Brembo gold calipers Godspeed brake discs hel stainless steel liles. BC Coilovers with solid links. It was mapped by Bob Rawle to 411BHP and 423 FT of Torque. Then turned down to a safe 351BHP and 406FT of Toque as the pistons and Conrods are not Forged.ST1 Prodrive Alloys with Michelin Pilot Tyres 👍
@AndrewMalley-y6h well that would be a good match up then nice mods just hope it has a proper baffled sump so the sucker doesn't blow up under track cornering conditions 😂 just having fun(I'm a subi and VW fan my old boxer VW,s would suffer oil starvation under heavy corners my outback won't corner that hard though 😁) you got any videos of it ? @ Merry Christmas mate 😁 thanks for the reply. When I built it I put a walbro uprated fuel pump and new sump and uprated oil pump. Love old VW’s I have a MK1 golf KR build I did in a container I need to finish 😂😂😂
