Thank you for your kind, caring and knowledgeable work with this young horse. At four he deserved better than the meat factory! Gaining the complete trust of an animal is the highest of honors. Kudos to you and all others who choose to rescue!
Can recommend Rick Gore/Think Like A Horse, if you like a gentle trainer, who despise metal, both in the horses mouth, or any buckels around the horses face...!!👌💞
Cole, you have a knack with rescue horses! 🐎 I would love to see more of this and you even work with a rescue, such as Horse Plus Humane Society in Tennessee....very great that you've made your Dad, and us proud!
I have one I have been trying to gentle he was abused and malnourished a big sweet heart and has already came a long way just has a bolting issue an a little bit of a fear issue. I can saddle him no issues bridle him no issues just in the saddle he bolts.
Usually they got away with that before the rider would quit riding them like being what we called barn sour. Should be able to break them of that pretty quick
From the looks of it you didn’t get a bad horse that horse had a bad trainer that either rushed the ground work or skipped it all together. That horse tried to please you the whole time and gave to you that’s going to be good horse great job
I just love watching you work “With” this horse . He is a WONDERFUL HORSE , such an injustice to label him as a lost cause 😢 . You speaking to the camera has to freak any horse out in my opinion , I’d LOVE adopt a shelter horses. I just know I could do it !
Hi!🤠 Really GREAT learning videos! Thanks so much, for taking your time and effort, to make these for us!!🙏👌 HOWEVER -NO SUCH THING, as a PROBLEM horse..!! The PROBLEMS are CREATED by PEOPLE..!! Since English is not my first spoken language, I might not have the right word -but, in my mind, the expression 'complicated' horse, sounds far more emphatic, in my ears -and shows far more understanding of the horses nature...... By saying PROBLEM horse, you lay off all responsibilities -when, in fact, the 'problem' horse(es) were created by STUPID PERSONS who -obviously, did not have a clue, what they were doing, to the poor horse/es.....💞
No, he's not a mustang. He doesn't have a BLM freeze brand on his neck. He does have a ranch brand on his left hip which likely would have been from his breeder. Probably a small quarter horse, which is sometimes referred to as a quarter pony under a certain height.
*Seems to me like anybody who would work with that horse would see that he’s scared and not mean; but maybe that “trainer“ wasn’t a real trainer, at all!!!*
Yeah be careful putting that flag on the offside, I’ve had a horse almost jump on top of me. What do you do with a horse that has a bad work ethic? I just got bucked off and broke ribs on a horse that doesn’t do anything bad until you ask him to put a little effort into anything. Trainer reject I thought I could rehab. I’m too old for that now. He’s a really pretty horse too bad I can’t finish his training. Anybody have any ideas. By the way his buck was really bad he went from zero to bronc in one second. He has clearly gotten people off this way and knows how.

Finally, thank you! I work at a rescue training/re-training kill pen horses. This info helps out a lot Mr. Cameron
could i get a horse from a shelter and train it for roping?
THANKS for rescuing him. You're "gentler" than Clinton Anderson 👍.
Yes you are nicer to the horse
I don't even call that guy a trainer after finding this channel and watching some other gentle trainers.

I wonder if doing some of this work from he back of another horse would be good for this horse.
Is he a mustang? Looks like a miniature QH... No pony in him...just very small.

@@suzanneyoung8011 thank you...I can still remember when QH Were 15-15.2 hands. And 14.2 H was common
Do you have videos of how far he’s come?
I would throw a loop and catch those back legs first...but I'm not in there, you are.
Would you tell me the size of your round pen sir , please , thanks
