I was his guitar tech for 2 shows. And no homo , id notice that his guitars smelt like his cologne . I wish i asked what it was , but he was so nice and smelt very nice lol
This is amazing, but I have one question: why isn't it on @Official McFly channel? They do need to promote themselves much better, most underrated band ever! Love them endlessly
that's like saying you hate I Want It That Way by the Backstreet Boys. alot of people say it's overplayed (and yeah in some cases it is) but it's one of their most well known songs internationally, so it makes sense to keep playing it.

And also, before this perofrmance McFly had supposedly come back after 10 years since their last album and yet they're putting the old, samey, all about you before their new stuff. Tbh I think all about you's a bit of a dead song anyway tbh.
I get what you mean, but at the same time... Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think they played All About You for the nurses and people on the front line during this pandemic, right? Maybe I'm completely wrong though. It fits more than playing ''Star Girl''. But I get that a lot of people associate the band with this song. I actually like the song more now than years ago to be honest.
Really sucks that they seem to have overdubbed the actual instruments in Happiness with the backing track. Very disappointing; I was so excited to hear how it would sound with guitars being audible
@@grace.reynolds It seems what they broadcast to everyone was the studio track without vocals, even their guitar movements are completely inaudible whereas the extra added studio percussion is really easy to hear. The drums are also way too sample-based, so unless Harry's using triggers I doubt even the drums are even real. Wish they'd just send a soundboard signal instead of what they did
Every live studio act that includes instruments is dubbed in, it takes too long to set up mics and sound levels for instruments for live TV so they're usually left out and dubbed in instead
@@katiesmith4449 It was the first thing I did when I realised it was available! You can tell how much more authentic and fun the song was when what they were playing was what we were hearing. The fact that they played the US version of five colours really makes me hope that they return to a more Radio:Active sound but I doubt that'll happen 😂
