What is sad is that we taught the settlers every thing they needed to know and they turned on us. Day by day we are being forgotten. They wanted to get rid of us, but we are still here. Keep these traditions alive. I’m proud to be at least part of this wonderful civilization.

It's sad what people have lost, when you catch a glimpse of the past you wonder what could have been, if the world was perfect and some people weren't selfish. But things are getting better, people are going back to their roots, atleast the little information we have left about our past, a great wealth of knowledge has been lost. Merging what little we know about the past and who we are today to create a new cultural fabric is the only way to maintain some kind of connection to our past, cause we can not change past events ,but can we create for ourselves some kind of identity with what little is left.

It don’t matter where you’re from! Indigenous people are from all over the world! From native Americans here in the us to the Sami (or however it’s spelled) in the Scandinavian countries to the Hindus in India to the tribes in Africa! We need to understand each other through music!

I'm PR (puerto rican). My daughter is passamaquati St John's river Tribe up in Maine/Canada. This is absolutely beautiful. I can't imagine what's going in in the world and everyone forgets America was already a people's home before we settled. I cant stop crying after viewing these videos.....
My father was forever intrigued by The Indian Man and his Homeland and Culture. He read so many books and I'm sure he drew some spiritual peace within. Thank you for your perseverance and keeping your culture alive.

I watch this everyday along with all Alexandro’s other videos. I can’t praise this artist enough. He plays from the very depths of his soul and reaches into your soul. I’ve noticed in a lot of his videos young children are sitting quietly watching him play. They are mesmerized by him. If it was just the music they wouldn’t sit like they do. Hello brother Alexandro. Your music is very inspiring. Everytime i listen to your music, i always remember my ancestors and where i came from. I am from Philippines on the hogh mountains of the Cordilleras. Us Cordillerans are also called natives of the nation. my ancerstors have the same clothings as yours before but now it is vanishing because we are lacking of preservance on our culture. Some of my ancestors are also using bamboo flute like the one you are using. thank you so much for reminding me much of my culture..
