It's sad what people have lost, when you catch a glimpse of the past you wonder what could have been, if the world was perfect and some people weren't selfish. But things are getting better, people are going back to their roots, atleast the little information we have left about our past, a great wealth of knowledge has been lost. Merging what little we know about the past and who we are today to create a new cultural fabric is the only way to maintain some kind of connection to our past, cause we can not change past events ,but can we create for ourselves some kind of identity with what little is left.
We native people are still here we aren’t gone or extinct. We still are proud and hold on to our traditions. There are still over 500 nations still around.

Us Cordillerans are also called natives of the nation. my ancerstors have the same clothings as yours before but now it is vanishing because we are lacking of preservance on our culture. I just love listening to their songs that tell a story of their ancestors , I have indian blood in me from my mother and her mother . Me and my siblings were never told of our ancestors , only that we were part indian . My maternal grandmother had passed before I was born , my mom spoke of her off and on , but nothing about traditions or anything like that . Indian music is beautiful , serene , and makes one fantisize what their lives were really like when they had to fight for their lands . It still breaks my heart that native americans were never given the credit they deserve on discovering america. Land was taken and just so many horrible things. I just love listening to their songs that tell a story of their ancestors , I have indian blood in me from my mother and her mother . Me and my siblings were never told of our ancestors , only that we were part indian . My maternal grandmother had passed before I was born , my mom spoke of her off and on , but nothing about traditions or anything like that . Indian music is beautiful , serene , and makes one fantisize what their lives were really like when they had to fight for their lands . I enjoy the flute , it has a beautful sound and reverberates through ones soul . Keep bringing our peoples stories through your music , and Thank You so much for posting .
